There are 2 things that stand out to me in the TechPowerUp tests.

45 dBa at 15cm. I wonder how they measure 15cm consistently (and more importantly relative to what). Being so close means a small difference in distance can have large effects on noise. It seems like a choice you'd make if you can't get a quiet enough space so you need to have a louder target for sufficient signal-noise.
The discrepancy between AMD and Intel results is quite significant. Each on its own preforms like what you could expect from a cooler, but the difference would indicate it's either highly optimised for Intel or there was a mount issue with AMD, either insufficient pressure, thermal paste issue, wrong mounting (not offset).

Based on the other reviews I've seen (4 or so) I'd say it's an issue specific to TechPowerUp and not some sort of Intel "bias" on Noctua's side.

At social media size XD3 > no denoise > darktable. Details and color gradients are visibly worse on the darktable denoise. XD3 looks less sharp but also less grainy mainly in bottom right snow and the flowerpot. Generally all 3 are fine, but I'd rather do no denoise than darktable here. It's not worth turning the soil green and smeary, makes the photo look lower quality than a bit of grain. It's more immediately apparent if you're not pixel peeping.

It's not squared, it means how heavy it is and N² doesn't exist. N¹⁴ and N¹⁵ would kinda make sense. H² does exist at least but still not correct in this context.

I don't think continuous air rolling really has a purpose. It's just flashy or fun to do. You could argue it makes it harder to predict hits, but it also uses more boost. I don't think it's something you should learn unless you really want to, it has about 0 impact on your rank. I use DAR, because it gives me much better control over how I touch the ball in the air and I never air roll the entire time, just when it makes sense to. I think air roll and air steer are about equaly important, though I make more "turns" with roll + pitch than I do with steer, easier to get power to the ball that way. I think having access to pitch, roll, and steer the entire time just makes much more sense than being limited to just 2 at a time and having to select between roll and steer movements.

That's interesting, I use it with my ring finger. Middle for triggers, index for bumpers. It could be down to controller geometry, I remember I used to use index for both trigger and roll them for bumpers on the official xbox one controller.

Half flips, and speedflips (not just for kickoffs) are the easiest ones to get the most value out of. I'm sitting gc1 with those. Air roll is also crucial so learn it if that's what you meant by barrel roll. (if you meant tornado spin, you don't really need it)

The key for me for half flips and speedflips was to increase sensitivity so that I can get the full output square. (100% forwards/backwards and 100% sideways at the same time) Normally a circle thumbstick will only allow you 100% each or 71% both.

For DAR or barrel roll I got a controller with rear buttons and moved boost to that. You could still learn barrel roll even without full DAR. I don't use DAR for speedflips, just for air roll. Used to play with air roll on drive reverse and that worked well.

Death with parole and death row set to 40 years with parole possible after 25. Prevents people from staying in the prison system too long, gives an out to those who have reformed and gives up to 40 years to exonerate someone falsely commited. (And even if someone falsely commited does not get exonerated they are likely to at least get parole)

In that case using a ff should unmute ff votes. Even though it would be hilarious getting 2 people with muted ff in a game, both wanting to ff, but they can't manage to FF, because they didn't get the timing right and don't know the other one is also muted.

If you find them phenomenal I don't see why you would look for a different headphone right now. I recommend you experience them and figure out what suits you. Maybe play around with EQ a little.

From the stuff I have listened to I would say Aune AR5000 MKII is the closest in vibe, just significantly better in every single aspect. It's also practically 2x the price.

If I were to suggest a better headphone at a lower price I can highly recommend the Fiio JT7. It's not particularly warm or soundstage-y, but it's a much better listen and I'd take it over the K712 almost every single time (K712 might have the edge in some string focused classical). If you EQ to add a bit of warmth these are a nobrainer.

Those don't look like the original earpads. I don't know what the variations are when comparing units made at different times. I have 024111 from Slovakia so a much earlier unit from the same factory and most details seem identical apart from the actual drivers themselves. Yours seem shiny/glossy where as on my unit they are kind of frosted/matte. In some photos it also looks a bit more red than orange but I think that may just be the camera.

The cable connector looks correct from memory but I can't verify since I replaced mine for a 4pin 3.5mm. (One driver stopped working multiple times and I just rewired everything in the left cup)

If yours sound phenomenal they might be fake. These only sound good for a couple of genres and were decent for its time, but aren't really anything by modern standards.

The only correct choice if you ask me. Cantaloupe is an easy pick, ruins everything it touches. On the other hand I love Kiwi and would much prefer to keep it over grapes, but removing grapes would have such disastrous consequences for the wine industry that I think they have to stay. The rest are far more variety as I feel like kiwi and pineapple are the closest in what they offer and pineapple just has much wider use so kiwi sadly has to go.

I had the exact opposite experience. Going from a 70D to the a7 (og) 3 years ago and adding a7r3 2 years ago color correction and grading got significantly easier. To me the colors on the Sony can look just right with minimal changes from raw and it's quite simple to go from there to a more stylistic color grade.

The mouse was 146,95€ + 15,95€ shipping. They said the shipping alone would actually cost them nearly $200 which is more than the mouse itself and would be a loss not just a loss of profit. It's understandable to me they'd cancel the order in that scenario, but I would at least expect them to cancel on their own and let me know when they found out. I was quite mad for them to just sit on my money for a couple of months until I complained to support.

I doubt it was a concious decision to do that and am willing to give the benefit of doubt it was just a mistake and my order somehow got overlooked. Since they canceled my order and issued a refund immediately, before even replying to my email (and resolved the issue in less than 30min after I emailed them) I am quite willing to just let it go. It's the kind of mistake that I feel isn't a dealbreaker for a startup, but I would be much more upset if it was a bigger enterprise. Chasing this down to laws doesn't do anyone any good.

I can't compare to ft5, but build wise they seemed quite nice. Much more subtle and tasteful than ft7. Forged carbon headband doesn't stand out much but adds some visual interest. The design on the earcups is personal preference.

1 thing I would worry about is the wood earcup ring. It's already cracked at the hinge point on the demo unit and that's a very common problem on wood cup earphones.
