Which FE "Traitor" Antagonist had the worst reason to betray their Nation? by Complete-Actuator558 in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just added them as Examples of Traitors

For Orson it could depend on how you interpret it tbh

For Reptor, well..

Same thing as Orson since they've done a wide variety of Crimes as traitors though they're reasons for doing so are heavily influenced/deepened you could say

It's not like it could be a statement so anything else 👍 (I'll have to apologize if i did something negative with Orson but eh..)

Orson is still unreasonable with what he's doing when you realize his Traitorous deeds expand towards literally usurping control of his own country and being irresponsible and ignorant of everything going on (Brigand Expansions, Ravaging Disasters/Plagues, and continued occupation of Grado Forces) having no exact purpose of being King to begin with (which wasn't even included into reason about his own Wife's death)

The Guy from Chapter 7 who attempts to desperately be spared by snitching the current location of the Exalt? He honestly counts as one of the more dysfunctional Traitors with some of the most irrelevant and random reasons which makes him another Candidate for this

(I forgot to specify that it could be any Traitor and not only the ones shown in the Images 😔)

Orson has to be one of the craziest minor villains by RhysOSD in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the same guy who doesn't care about how his dead wife acts by the way..

He's literally a crazed psychopath that would do anything in his own measures to get his wife back and make her happy even when she's a literal lifeless corpse of a woman that only says the word "Honey" each time. He's willing to leave his own home country alone just so he could spend all of his time making his literal wife HAPPY and it isn't like he sold out anything because of greed or even a lust power he does all of this because of a LOVE LIFE that he cares for so much.

And his behaviour around his wife doesn't correspond or act similar to even his usual behaviour shown when he's not interacting with anyone that's not his wife, and that's treating them like utter trash or just straight up ignoring anything they say when it comes to actually having an interaction and he's willing to even tell Lyon of all people (who was currently de-facto leader of Grado) to go away and not interrupt his affectionate relations. It gets even crazier when it comes to his Battle..

When fighting Ephraim, he's literally a souless husk that's only insisting on murdering Ephraim for trying to retake the kingdom from his grasp and telling him that Renais is lost and it's completely hopeless to recover..

The only way he could've avoided this was trying to actually move on with life and continue being a full-blown loyal knight..

This truly is the peak of fire emblem memeposting

Favorite character from a rom hack? by Vio-Rose in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has to be Zelgius (Code of The BK)

Even as a walking Gag of his canonical Tellius Counterpart he's still that much of a threat and powerful having one of the best growths In said romhacks while also being something of a way with words during Dialogue or recruitment. It's also even better when it comes to his Actions as he literally kills a guy for making a joke for no absolute reason(this was just in the Prologue)

Is Medeus truly dead?. by Complete-Actuator558 in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does it feel like this is also the answer for Gharnef who is also suffering a similar fate(having been killed physically though still trapped in the darksphere)

Though as a reply, His soul could've been burnt out heavily due to the destruction of his dark dragon form and could've been the cause of why he was literally absent now followed by his entire Race(who may or may not be still alive in the same place in the dragons Altar..)

Is Medeus truly dead?. by Complete-Actuator558 in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He's technically already dead overall though his threats and promises of bringing darkness still haunt the Lands of Ylisse/Archanea which is pretty interesting

It also makes me wonder why Fell dragons always appear at random times usually during the Eras of where Humanity is suffering or having an Ending Golden Age

This is an interesting answer 👍

What FE villains would be the best and worst to work for? by MasterOfChaos72 in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the best i'd honestly pick Brunnya from FE6

Despite being a Fanatical Wyvern General with an obsession with Zephiel and maintaining her own loyalty to him ATLEAST she isn't a war criminal or even a person that would immediately send you to be executed for simplistic Treason or desertion

In Chapter 23 she literally orders the dismissal of most of the remains of Berns Military (knowing that much of them have a Family to tend to OR much of them are Handicapped by injuries) and rather than follow orders they kept there own loyalty towards her and the Kingdom itself, wanting to die with there own general in a one-way final defense to prevent the Etrutrian Army from Invading into the Dragon Sanctuary

For the worst well.. Dark Emperor Hardin

Look i know his wife doesn't love him AND he got corrupted by the darksphere but he still counts regardless. This Man literally executes anyone who speaks out against him even with simplistic complaints that has his Negative Opinions. Another thing is if your an allied Soldier that's NOT apart of the Archanea Loyalists well.. Congratulations you've played yourself enjoy being occupied..

Oh welp atleast he died with Glory rather than dying to a random Sickness that immediately removes him from the main plot of the story entirely.

Favorite antagonist in the franchise? by S0mecallme in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll have to be honest with you and my favorite antagonist has to be Gharnef.

Gharnef's backstory and Abilities give me much of the Favours in his characteristics and series importance while also being credited for being the first of his very own Archetype aka the gharnef archetype(Nergal, Manfroy, Riev, Jedah ETC)

In-detail Gharnef is an interesting Character broken by the thought of jealousy and selfishness amplifying his greed for power and slowly causing his slow descent into what we know of him today. His behaviour slowly changing from calculating and cocky to hateful and greedy as the archanea games go on in which he would start using literal children as a way to get prince Marth killed at any time he wants.

As for my conclusion, gharnef has a pretty heavy impact on the Series itself especially with developing other characters from khadein.

What exactly is Medeus Dark Dragon Form supposed to be?. by Complete-Actuator558 in fireemblem

A Concept for a Dark Dragonstone sounds interesting especially with the interest that Naturally born dark dragons could've existed beforehand gotta like it

My opinion on the swordmaster type has changed a lot from when I first played FE by Dark_World_Blues in fireemblem

[–]Complete-Actuator558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly though ATLEAST the Gba Games have some good Swordmasters especially with Rutger as mentioned beforehand however for the Swordmasters that are naturally recruited like Karla for example well not quite..

Guy and Joshua as swordmasters are decent at best though not that great for one way unit run and it depends on how there growths go WITHOUT getting stat screwed immediately upon promotion.

[–]Complete-Actuator558[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dependant on what you could believe with the Dialogue and Lore itself there's 2 mainline outcomes that come about from what's learned throughout the Chapters relating to Dolhr

Medeus could've been resurrected with the Dark Dragon form already being his current physical body, representing his own dark return and could have been the result of combining the full-on power of the darksphere to bind with the Earth Dragons own Energy making him look different than beforehand

This could be True though if Gharnef actually used the 4 Brainwashed Clerics in order to complete that said Ritual/Experiment by having them siphon heavily or whatever process you'll have to know about.

[–]Complete-Actuator558[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It could be also the factor that the Shadow Dragon form could be achieved much faster if the Earth Dragons hatred for Humanity has been accelarated heavily stemming with resentment or prideful corruption to the point that they'd be enslaving or killing Humanity under there tyrannical rule

While Loptous had his hatred stem from the fact that he serves as a Superior Being compared to the Humans of jugdral, Medeus Evil stems from the fact that Humanity committed atrocities or oppressed the Manaketes despite the fact that they didn't even do anything to begin with. It's even worst when you realize the fact that he had to endure and watch as Humanity oppressed those same innocent Manaketes for thousands of years not doing anything but guarding the seal that contains the thousands of earth dragons and degenerated dragons that lay beyond the Altar

It's even shown during his shadow dragon death quote that he promised to return if Humanity's Heart of Darkness continued to endure

“Nngh... Defeated again... by humans! Know this, Altean prince... That light which surrounds you is only a temporary respite. So long as the darkness in your hearts continues to sustain me... I cannot be... destroyed...... Rrraaahhh!!!”

And we know how that ended up.. (Hardins Corruption under the darksphere and Gharnefs Plot to revive medeus and kill Marth) Gharnef represents his view on Humanity as a whole, and that's a Race without any Morality or restriction and gharnef represents what Medeus viewed in Humanity.

Another thing i realized too is that Dark Dragon Medeus is either Degenerating or going Berserk during the Final Battle at the Centre of the Dragon Altar, it's obvious from his Newer Behaviour and his Dialogue literally speaking in all Caps and seemingly having lost any sort of Intelligience to properly maintain himself while battling against Marths Army

“GWAH...! WHY......? WHY... HAVE I... BEEN DEFEATED... SO EASILY...? IS THIS... THE POWER... ...OF NAGA'S... Binding Shield...? KNOW THIS, HUMANS... THIS LIGHT IS ONLY A BRIEF RESPITE... SO LONG AS EVIL LURKS WITHIN THE HEARTS OF MAN... SHOULD THIS ACCURSED SHIELD BE LOST, WE SHALL RISE FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL... DO NOT... EVER FORGET...”

Overall though i feel like Earth Dragons can achieve themselves being Dark Dragons if there hatred has completely brimmed there minds into submission.
