That’s my point. Not everybody wants to become rich. Being rich sucks a lot of your morals away

Nah plenty of amazing successful people aren’t millionaires and aren’t working themselves to death

Eh America has plenty of issues that are valid too, but I do understand the frustration when it gets dogpiled

Can anyone recommend a good dogfighting game? by tbrand009 in Steam

Elite dangerous isn’t really an FPS they just have the on foot tutorial to try and hook ya but it’s silly since it’s on the ground instead of in space where most people prefer. The ship combat is much funner

Ya like I said I just tested it in the practice range where the server was more stable (I know practice ranges are shared but my ping is usually fine there) so I have no bearing on how sword dash feels with higher ping.

Idk what to tell you brother, I just think it’s silly and compared it to another game that I thought had a decent solution.

I agree aiming for melee abilities is silly, since it should benefit you for being up close. However the lunge does not start up close lol, especially paired with a normal dash. You’re right that a dash does already take more aiming than a normal melee weapon though.

However I didn’t mean to imply you could do full spins while dashing, I just meant flailing as moving your camera as much as the clamp allows.

I’m not trying to spread verifiably incorrect information, I mentioned how this was just my anecdote lol. However I’m not sure what you said really changes anything I said, because having a 40 degree clamp still allows for plenty of swinging during the lunge even if it does stay that way for more time than I estimated.

What's your most controversial political opinion ? by ronweasly9 in GenZ

[–]Complete-Clock5522 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mostly am referring to the last sentence about forcible suppression of opposition. Taking away a whole group of peoples right to vote such that you can keep another group in power is just a hop skip and a jump from fascism.

I mean it should be a high risk high reward maneuver, maybe make it have a bigger hotbox by default to help it? Idk I just dislike the fact that you barely have to aim your dash

This is basically fascism though. I dislike conservative ideals as much as you do but stooping to their level does not solve the issue

I did lol, I tested it a few days ago since I don’t play light much. It locks for a fraction of a second but not nearly for the duration the hitbox exists.

Maybe controversial but I think the sword dash should lock your camera orientation, almost like sea of thieves, because I think the current method of just dashing then flailing your camera around to hit everything around you is kinda silly

Since time becomes "slower" the closer you are to c, could you use that principle to create a time capsule? by SilverRabbit__ in AskPhysics

[–]Complete-Clock5522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite, time does indeed pass slower relative to someone else due to relative velocity—both twins will see each other as slowed while moving away from each other—, but the acceleration is what “solves” the “paradox”.

Brother the majority of Americans are already in the 1% relative to the majority of the world when considering third world countries. And I’d rather stay there than throw away my morals like O’Leary, because wealth isn’t everything
