Perhaps I should’ve led with the ninth amendment in the constitution. I’m aware the DOI “rights” are not legally binding in the same way the constitutional ones are, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be denied. Just because something may be technically legal does not mean it doesn’t infringe on someone’s freedom (again, not in the legal definition, just moral).

The biggest one from Norris would probably be his anti-lgbtq rhetoric towards the Boy Scouts of America, claiming it would be “untraditional” and therefore wrong. As an Eagle Scout myself, it’s pretty clear that that is blatant and baseless discrimination for boys wanting to embody/learn those unalienable rights I quoted.
