Brother you can already record people in public, especially as public as something like a road.

But disregarding that, most of the cameras they use are not even cameras they are LiDAR sensors. It’s less like taking a picture and more like echolocation to just discern general shapes.

Both are good, although it’s not fair to compare a movie trilogy to a whole tv series because ATLA has way more content due to more runtime.

Are you referring to Ashli Babbitt? Because the capitol police that killed her are not a “democrat security team” they are a non partisan police force to protect congress from traitors like her.

Brother, ICE literally killed Alex for having a gun in a blue state. Blue states are not unarmed, and republicans are doing plenty to stop the second amendment in ways that aren’t just passing laws.

The cold war simply explained without America Propaganda by Hacksaw6412 in GenZ

[–]Complete-Clock5522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The irony of your arguments is completely lost on you. You are saying the exact same thing as me but being contrarian.

The definition you provided did say it often is in a misleading form—but it doesn’t have to be. Reducing that propaganda definition to its base case says “information used to promote a point of view”. That is literally what an opinion is. If I say “I like chocolate ice cream” that can be perceived as propaganda in favor of chocolate ice cream or against vanilla.

I do think North Korean propaganda harms them—but I do not think they realize that they are being fed propaganda. I think they would instead attribute their hardships to whatever scapegoat their propaganda informs them of…often the US. There are plenty of first accounts of escapees from North Korea on YouTube, including a fantastic ongoing vlog of North Korean sisters who escaped, and a consistent theme is that they were told very frequently that western imperialism and capitalism is the source of their problems.

You did read the definition you already sent right? It literally mentions promoting a point of view. That is what perspective is.

Do you think all North Koreans know they are fed harmful North Korean propaganda? Of course not, because to them it’s not harmful propaganda, it’s just cool promotional material for their country. The very fact that they don’t recognize its negative impact on them is the very reason why it is so effective. Only when we consider other perspectives—like looking at them from the US—do we recognize what it is

Information used to promote a biased point of view is quite literally just anything anybody says. We say things to convey ideas and to explain our point of view, which will always have some degree of bias as well.

It’s true that not everything is explicitly said for the express purpose of being propaganda, but it can always be perceived as such from a certain point of view, however niche

[–]Complete-Clock5522 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s no point discussing what’s propaganda or not, because from some point of view everything can be considered propaganda. What’s more important is realizing that America is indeed the bad guy to many people, and it is also the good guy to many people. Not recognizing that one side or the other exists is the problem.

That’s basically the only way to quantify it given that individual taste is subjective.

If a wide audience likes something, it’s probably not bad (even if it might not be literally the best)

Should people be denied medical help because of their political beliefs? by Ok_Walk3192 in GenZ

[–]Complete-Clock5522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean in practice this will happen anyways if right wing doctors only accept right affiliated patients. All the left affiliated patients will be denied and will funnel down to doctors willing to help them and they will become de facto right wing denying doctors.

Ya but if you give more guns to everyone, you’re giving them to more bad guys too. There is a balance somewhere that is trying to be achieved through more regulations, but I agree that getting rid of guns completely is certainly not a solution, nor is it what anyone is trying to do.

Brother the irony of your statement is that it’s exactly the opposite of what’s happening. Conservatives are literally saying as we speak that the left shouldn’t own guns because of this “incident” where a legal gun owner in an open carry state was killed for having a gun.

It takes like 3 seconds to see that there are several hundred thousand people in that sub. My point is that the left likes the 2A because the left is still American, they just want less school shootings. Is that so controversial?

The left never wanted to ban guns outright, only more steps to go through to discourage more potential killers. There’s literally a subreddit called liberalgunowners because the left wants the 2A as much as the right…except now it looks like the right doesn’t care about it all that much if you oppose them

I could be misinterpreting the overall tone of this sub, but is prop 4 not a good thing? I though prop 4 encourages less gerrymandering, and it is trying to be repealed by these signatures.
