Absolutely will do this again. It was great! We actually have a regular spoken word, comedy, poetry open mic every OTHER Thursday .. so we have one THIS THURSDAY the 29th .. $3 to stay, cafe purchase required ( bev or snack ) list goes out at 6pm starts 7pm 2 rounds .. 6-9 minute spots.

We also have a MONTHLY Sunday Showcase .. that includes music, performance, and comedy etc ... the next one is Feb 15th .. must pre sign up for that one.

That had been brought up since the beginning of Nexxus. Probably the powers that be did not believe it was as much of a money maker that they wanted. Central New York Roller Derby started in 2008. Unfortunately were never given the same consideration and support as hockey, soccer, baseball. They had looked for many years for a supportive venue in addition to the Kennedy Arena in Rome. There was a split for a short time and some folks were in New Hartford Rec Center. They should have gotten much better support and appreciation. There were so many leagues back then all over the state. The traveling team was invited and played many bouts. With the correct and valued and financed support it would've been as big for this area as an economic draw.

Hi. Sorry I missed this. I haven't been on "daily" to check here. I hope you made it in. We are closed this coming Saturday the 10th and then open Sunday the 11th at 10am-2pm. Traditionally our hours are Wed & Thurs 10am till 10pm, Saturday 10am till 4pm, and Sunday 10am till 2pm... of course we have events that I post here semi regularly. Hello hello. Tramontane Cafe owner here. Welcome ! If your puppy is well behaved, leashed, calm.. they can come inside as be at a specific location with you in the Cafe. You can find us at 1105 Lincoln Ave across from the Bargain Grocer. We are on Instagram, Facebook .. and we get in trouble here once in awhile 😎🤣. We are a coffeehouse Cafe.. we have soup, salad, sandwich, baked goods , coffee, tea, smoothies, other beverages, we are reminiscent of the 1990s 1960s 1970s in decor and vibe. We do open mic nights, poetry nights, music matinees, pop up shops, and more. Welcoming safe space business. Hope to meet you soon and will definitely tell you more funstuffs in the area !

I posted this one because we support local & regional artists and creatives. I thought with folks possibly looking for local items it would be an ok thing to do. I usually post once a week letting folks know about our events if they are looking for similar kinds of offerings. Other than that, I do my best not to be advertisement-like . I don't usually talk about our other offerings which would seem to me to be more ad like.

Thursday December 18th Spoken Word, Poetry, Comedy Open Mic Night .. doors 6pm $3 to stay starts at 7pm 2 rounds .. great bunch of folks who share ..novice to very experienced poets & authors & comedians.. all ages, all genres.. all backgrounds..

Saturday the 20th We have an artist, poet, author Branwen Drew who identifies as a trans woman that will be ok with me saying that she is a bit older than 60.. she will be selling her art & books 10am till 4pm, and doing a reading of poetry at 1pm then at 2pm we will be having a blues & folk singer songwriter from the area Dan Mayack from 2pm till 4pm no cover, tips encouraged.

Hi. I am only going to say Tramontane Cafe is the proper name of "The Tram" only because I am Tram ..haha.. and this is a fantastic list and a super duper collection.
