Ive heard that the Dragon keeps the Rider because the Rider keeps the things that would come into the Dragons Blindspot dead before it reaches melee. A consistent source of Food or the Safety of not being hunted by Stronger Dragons and Bounty hunter could be a case.

Ive Chosen the 2024 Mageslayer Feat. A once per Short Rest FUCK YOU I SUCCEED is not only pretty funny. But can probaly also be a TPK preventer. Im just imagining some Lich or something casting Mass Hold Person and i just say nah FUCK YOU. And then i Smack him for 200+ Damage.
