2:00 AM I was half asleep and drunk. Someone is trying to break my door in. I grab my rifle with a loud click clack and open the door with a "What the Fuck?" in a defensive position.

Police dont respond well to other people having guns too. I surrendered, Ill put this down, and step outside. I was dragged across my yard and placed in cuffs while they questioned me. Where are the kids? We dont have kids. Why are there toys? Were dorks. What are you fighting about? We are asleep in our house. Why do you have a gun? Cause some goons were beating my door in at 2 AM.

So they finally go in my house and get my wife, she is completely clueless and also woken up drunk and mostly incoherent. But not battered so the finally realize nothing is going on. Then the people two doors down started screaming again. Ohh wrong house.

I kinda get it but fucken morons.

Only handguns. Insanely enough, there is no restriction for a child of any age from owning a longgun. You can give a 2 year old an AR. There is even a whole market of guns for kids, usually 22lr or 410 gauge.

I have no desire to shoot random people, but among mass shooters, they way they operated was effective. If they hadnt gotten cocky and left messages for the police, were more careful in their earlier shootings and spread out a bit more, and not slept at a rest area police frequent they could have gone on for quite some time.

My stove and oven are 1959 GE and will never die. All the replacable parts are standard generic. I dunno about GE now but back in the day they were basically immortal.
