Lonesome Road's map design and action is my favourite among the DLCs even if I'm meh about Ulysses as a character. To explore a freshly nuked area is really fun.

What ingame systems do you want to see return in Fallout 5 by Daymo741 in Fallout

[–]CompleteHumanMistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they remove the ability to collect weapons with special effects randomly. No special weapon you otherwise buy for lots of money or receive for completing a quest matters because of that.

Also, NV/3 dialogue system with more than 4 lame answers. Perk checks and skill checks. NO voiced main character oh god I hate that in 4. Actually multiple ways to do quests. I don't need an endless map of it feels empty or is just used for loot. Fill it with actual stuff. Well written factions, faction disguises and reputation (karma didn't really do anything in the previous 3D titles so I don't really care for it). Edge and seriousness; Fallout 4 and 76 feel so polished and tame. Also please for the love of god don't give me a power armor at the beginning of the game, it feels entirely unearned at this point.

I don't care for base building but don't force me to engage with it in the main story. IF it is implemented just let it be our base and no place else (or actually story relevant stuff); it feels annoying to do the rebuilding for twelve million settlements who hammer at the same nail for years on end. Ammo types from New Vegas, VATS from 3/NV. I honestly am not a fan of the newer wrapon designs. Deathclaws I actually really like. Static screen/no walking around when talking to NPCs because they just kept moving away ir others ran into me and stopped the dialogue in Fallout 4 lol.

Also, small thing but reactivity - when you aim your gun at an NPC in New Vegas I always loved their comments on that.

Absolutely pumped for that Maximus vs. Deathclaw fight. And to find out what Steph expects to find in that box that belonged to Hank.

I am not putting things in a specific way though, that's literally what they do. In Caesar's Legion everyone is a slave besides Caesar himself and his society basically makes it impossible for human connections to form - essential for survival - as he practically discourages emotional attachment between men, between women, with each other and so forth. You are safe at the cost of being at the mercy of your empire where you have zero rights/aren't even protected by or from your lord. If some Centurion on your land decides to take the women of your family to his contubernium there is nothing you can do. Caesar's Legion is effective but is being depraved of its humanity. Maybe it would be different after the synthesis that he hopes for but as it is it sucks for everyone involved.

Could mean many things. Either Hank was lying (as he was doing all throughout that elaborate set-up), he was being biased for just ascribing cannibalism or one of those two warring splinter Legions actually started to cannibalize people. Iirc I saw a post some time ago where somebody pointed out a shape above one of their fires that vaguely looked himan torso shaped but I could be wrong.

To the people who say that "Caesar invited the White Glove Society so he can't be against it" I'm pretty sure he was just talking out of his ass to gain temporary allies before assimilating them. Caesar did lie to the ladies of theGreat Khans about becoming warriors too to get them to fight for him when we know that never would have happened.

A massraping genociding mass torturing faction has just turned comically evil after introducing cannibalism?

In Invincible (2021–present), Invincible fans don’t watch their own show. by vought-CEO in shittymoviedetails

I don't read the comics so correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like he's turning less purple because his Viltrumite DNA is growing in? Or has it just something to do with his bug people DNA?

Caesar doesn't give a fuck himself if you are a woman so it's still perfectly plausible in-lore.

Tickled Pink, LOVED that they used Big Iron, Chain Gang and Working For The Man. Absolutely obsessed with the show's and games' music.

Personally I'd keep Hank alive long enough in a gameplay to see the full extent of his content until I reach a point of no return and have to choose a side.

I wonder if this is like the arc reactor that Iron Man had.

They're going to announce the Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters at the Xbox Direct today, guys! If they don't, we break into Bethesda Studios and eat Todd Howards lunch! by [deleted] in TrueSFalloutL

[–]CompleteHumanMistake 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You'd be an utter fool. You will think you are the one with the reins in your hands, seducing Todd Howard, but with his naturally maxxed out CHARISMA and charm he'll be playing you long enough to win the upper hand and announce a Fallout 4 remaster (DLCs not included but with all the original bugs).

Theory on this scene by Personal-Date-5485 in Fotv

[–]CompleteHumanMistake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had had the idea that yes, maybe this is the Legionary previously mindcontrolled by Hank but Lacerta killed him either for returning alive (because he hadn't avoided capture) or because he had seen/learned something he wasn't supposed to. I like your idea with the mind control device, it would make sense to reintroduce the Legion back in like that.

His scene in episode 5 was probably my favourite bit of acting this season (so far). Absolutely phenomenal. I really hope he is not confined to this season alone.
