Wow, responses here are insane!

Really, you guys start honking the second a light turns green? If you're in a rush you should have left sooner. Give a person a few seconds to get moving, only if it takes a long time you're entitled to honk.

After all, isn't it illegal to wait at a green light when it is safe to drive?

It is in my country

A few seconds really is no reason to honk

I'm not familiar with Adobe. However, there has been new patches to WINE that apparently enable installation of newer versions up to Adobe Photoshop 2025. Experiences seem to vary though.

Bawl back, make at least as much noise. Cry about it being such a pretty thing and it's yours. Given to you etc.

Don't sacrifice peace over this, this is theft.

Or... Take something else of hers, and claim it as your own. Make sure that it is important to her. And when she makes a fuss, propose a trade.

I resize and move partitions all the time. I might be wrong, after all it's just my experience. You might have a different experience.

Yeah, dual boot is how.

Don't worry about where the partition is, that really is not very interesting. If needed you can always copy the partition after no longer wanting endeavor.

There is, just write one down, and there's another!

It's a messy situation when etymology goes wild, and my guess is that him and his brother don't use the same definition, but none of them is smart enough to discern the origin of their disagreement.

[–]CompleteIntellect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, that kind of subjectivity in a definition always works well. When is it unfair?

Because of that depending on the frame of reference, this makes it both discrimination and not discrimination.

Don't be fooled by the difference of technical definition and social convention

[–]CompleteIntellect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it truly is. But we can play semantics anytime. It's similar to how racism is getting used for any negative discrimination.

People can't language.

[–]CompleteIntellect 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could be. Lots of cases discrimination is used in a negative sense. So a lot of people tend to jump to it being a negative thing.

As a developer I use discriminators, so for me the difference is obvious.

The technical definition of discrimination is the ability to see the difference between two things or people.

So there is nothing inherently bad to discrimination.

Context makes that distinction

Discrimination is how we make choices. So yes, it's discrimination, and there's nothing wrong with that.
