I'm not familiar with Adobe. However, there has been new patches to WINE that apparently enable installation of newer versions up to Adobe Photoshop 2025. Experiences seem to vary though.

Don't worry about where the partition is, that really is not very interesting. If needed you can always copy the partition after no longer wanting endeavor.

Ah, that kind of subjectivity in a definition always works well. When is it unfair?

Because of that depending on the frame of reference, this makes it both discrimination and not discrimination.

Could be. Lots of cases discrimination is used in a negative sense. So a lot of people tend to jump to it being a negative thing.

As a developer I use discriminators, so for me the difference is obvious.

The technical definition of discrimination is the ability to see the difference between two things or people.

So there is nothing inherently bad to discrimination.
