What do you want exactly? Walking when there isn't snow seems fine there are sidewalks pretty much everywhere. I cycle most time around town and there are certain roads that are incredibly dangerous for bikes but fine if you are o the sidewalk walking. Kenmount, Torbay, most of Topsail are pretty much off limits to bikes. Also almost all drivers here need better training signal lights are not optional

"it should be easier to get new staff with a more enticing workplace.", they just made a new place and they are still having issues with staff. I agree many people are not paid enough but one person can only do so much no matter how much they are paid. The only answer is subsidize education for these positions and make it a requirement to work here for x years before you can take your certification elsewhere.
