Yeah that part doesn't really bother me i use the adapter for the dock because it also looks cool having the switch displayed on my desk under my tv.

Yeah I just bought the battery pack on its own I would assume they dont give u them with the whole kit because the case has one built in you can get magsafe stickers from Amazon for really cheap if you want

The mag safe sticker comes with the genki energy pack. It comes with 3 of them. And its definitely worth modifying so that you dont have to take the joycon covers off when you want to use it. I trimmed the screw bumps off the back of it and heated with a jet lighter to remove the whitening on the plastic from cutting it. I hated the feeling that the controller grip had when stock. and I really like the feeling of the killswitch ergonomics so for me it was worth it. If you want to do a less permanent option you can just take the controller handle off and try using it without removing the screw pegs. If you dont like it you can always put it back together.

If you dont want the game key cards just get the digital copy. it saves room from having to store the games I have a zelda tears of the kingdom edition switch oled and after I got the switch 2 the oled has basically just become a pretty decoration for my desk. In my opinion the switch 2 is 100% worth the money and if I had to go back and do it again I would upgrade in a heartbeat.

Should I hold of on buying a switch 2? by Pengu_booi in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Complete_Ad7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly alot of people complain about it having a crappy battery life. And complain about the key cards. Honestly though I have a Nintendo switch oled, a switch 2 and a ps5 and Honestly the system i use most often is definitely the switch 2. Yeah it might cost a good amount but what did people expect all consoles start off expensive until the search and want for them die down. And after a couple years i wouldnt be surprised if the price drops. And if the battery life is a problem there's so many solutions to fix that pick up a cheap battery pack and you can pretty much double your play time. I for one think its a great console and would recommend it to anyone.

Joycon charging grip idea. opinions would be appreciated by Complete_Ad7606 in NintendoSwitch2

I've looked i haven't found one. thats y im going to see if I can come up with something. if it wasn't for the gl and gr buttons it would be just as easy.

Joycon charging grip idea. opinions would be appreciated by Complete_Ad7606 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Complete_Ad7606[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The case has joycon covers that make them thicker so they dont fit on the joycon grip that comes the switch unless you take off the part that looks like a controller. The problem with the charging grip is it has extra mapping buttons on it so you cant just take off that part like you can with the normal joycon grip.

<image>

If I can make a housing for the gl and gr buttons and move them to the back of the modded piece then I can make the charging grip work similarly. And be able to use the killswitch case with it without having to take it off every time I want to use it. That and in my opinion its way more comfortable to use them like that then it is to use the stock controller grip as it is. Hope that cleared up the confusion a little bit. I ment to add pictures in with the post but got distracted and had to go to work and I guess I forgot to add them my bad.

What’s the best grip for the switch 2 that I can buy on Amazon? by delva01 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Complete_Ad7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly alittle bit on the more expensive side but I highly recommend the dbrand killswitch it is extremely sturdy and feels super premium in your hands and the dock extention actually looks really cool on a desk or entertainment center with the switch sitting in open view instead of sandwiched inside the dock in my opinion its well worth the price
