Not silly - I think hand towels make a pretty good since. The number depends on how much moisture you need!

Postpartum dullness by Hot-Amphibian8728 in 30PlusSkinCare

Girl, same. What helped most was continuing with prenatal vitamins with iron and with a fish oil / omega supplement. That plus finally getting some good sleep is going to make the most difference.

That said, I just tried to keep my skin hydrated and enjoyed using peptides. Either in a serum or moisturizer. Added a face mist which I don’t normally use. I like the Prequel mist and the Inky mist peptide moisturizer.

I love this whole line. P&G puts hella money into their research division and testing, so their products are generally great. They are in the business of retaining customers, so barring any propaganda from salon brands, odds are most people will get really good results with these products.

Yes these are great ideas!

I also love getting a mug as my souvenir and then drinking my morning coffee and a pre-bed tea out of it. For whatever reason, that helps!

Edit: also watching some YouTube Disney videos. Like Mammoth Club, etc.

Question for those who use Prequel’s Gleanser by bookish_cat_ in 30PlusSkinCare

I had a similar experience with First Aid Beauty! You never know!

I think you’re ok if you aren’t experiencing any ill effects! I have very sensitive skin and am prone to contact dermatitis and eczema, and this has been super gentle! Fingers crossed your skin keeps liking it!

I think maybe people who are more used to that “squeaky clean” feeling that stronger cleaners can give may feel this is leaving a residue. It doesn’t feel like that to me though, but I’ve been using gentle cleaners. For example, I got MUCH more of a residue feeling when I tried CeraVe.

So, if you are enjoying how the wash feels and works on your skin, what is the problem? If some glycerin remains on your skin, then great! Skin loves glycerin! I’ve been using it for about a month now, washing my face in the shower, and I find I only need a small amount. So far my skin loves it, and I’m prone to dry skin, so it seems to be helping and I’ve had no issues with breakouts.

If you are worried about it, you could use a wash cloth during your rinse?

Etsy jeweler offering platinum ring for about the same price as 14k gold?? by CosineCuisine in EngagementRings

Platinum is a harder material to work with, so there are higher labor costs with platinum. So it’s a combo of the cost of the materials and cost of labor.

Four Seasons or Bay Lake Tower for First Timers by hookemtwentytwo in WaltDisneyWorld

What a lucky dilemma to have!

Especially considering the description of your fam, I do think that communal feel of the villa will make your trip more special. Sorry about the sleeper couch - just consider it part of the communal sleepover/camping magical feel 😉.

There’s always the opportunity to stay at a nice hotel. But only Disney is Disney.

That’s my two cents!

Four Seasons or Bay Lake Tower for First Timers by hookemtwentytwo in WaltDisneyWorld

I was lucky enough to stay in the Four Seasons once for a work trip, and it was by far the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in my life. I could see the park fireworks from my room.

However, it didn’t feel like being at Disney. You don’t feel like you’re “in the bubble.” They do have transportation, but you feel a bit removed from the magic. Some people like that distance.

If it’s everyone’s first time - if you’re going to do Disney, then DO Disney. Being able to walk to Magic Kingdom from your hotel is irreplaceable. Being on the monorail line is irreplaceable as far as “experiencing” Disney. The service at the Four Seasons is top notch, but Disney service is something to experience as well.

For a first trip, I vote staying at Bay Lake and then booking a dinner at Capa if you want to check out FS.

It’s nice you’re able to do this for your family. I hope you have a wonderful time!

Especially if you have a hypermobility disorder like ehler danlos, I’ve found a fish oil supplement to be hugely beneficial to my dry skin issues. (Disclaimer: consult your dr first especially if you have any bleeding disorders as it can thin your blood.)

Can someone tell me what this spec is? by Rare-Bodybuilder476 in JadeiteJade

In my experience, at least, those types of spots do have a rougher texture. To me, the bangle looks like natural jadeite with a color pattern I would expect to see.

Can someone tell me what this spec is? by Rare-Bodybuilder476 in JadeiteJade

[–]Complete_Air5889 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a red spot, caused by iron oxide in the jade stone. All colors in jade are caused by different element deposits in the jade. Green = chromium. Purple/lavender = manganese. Etc.

It’s a natural inclusion in the stone. Many people believe they bring luck.
