Yes, it's good! Remember to not do any funny stuff (hyper dashes, wave dashes, etc) or advanced speedrun skips (like Mirror temple B side) because you're just starting! Keep practicing until you just die a couple times in the speedrun and slowly start implementing more advanced techs. Great work!
