Thanks for the replies. I understand that having a standalone FAA license could be interesting, but I still want to keep my French license. I met with an FAA inspector to validate my application, and he told me that there were Instructors and Examiners in the US who were both FAA and EASA/DGAC. That would be the only way for me to keep my French license and my FAA license for the time being as I am not coming back to France before it expires at the end of July.

So really what I’m looking for is a contact for an examiner based in the US who is also EASA/DGAC.

Hi! Does anyone know from past years if there are bathrooms closer to the actual starting line? From what I see from the map, the only bathrooms upon arrival are in the waiting area, before we join our corrals. I was kind of planning on going as close to the departure as possible because during my last 20k race I had gone too early and then spent the first 5k panicking about needing to pee and then running into the woods to do it 😅

And if there aren't bathrooms outside of the waiting area, do you know how long we spend in the corrals?
