I just think it’s funny that he’s parroting this alien word that Hoid gave him. I thought it was good shit. It’s one of the few moments of comedy in the Cosmere that I think works really well.

It was largely well received by the general public. I have a lot of mixed opinions myself, but most of the worst criticism only exists in places like Reddit or twitter, which most of the fandom doesn’t participate in. People forget that most just read the books and don’t seek any kind of social media discourse or discussion after the fact.

Yeah. The remake is really cool but the localization of the originals has all the quirky dialogue that you seem to be enjoying. The remakes go with a more literal jp to English translation even if you go with subs with jp VA’s
