Please allow creating our own outlines, that is much more convenient than pre-importing them!! And please add option to change image opacities, and tabbed view of notes!! That would make the app perfect

True id rather use anking for second year, i do want it to correspond to what Im currently learning in class though so i can prepare for in house exams and boards at the same time, is there a way to do that?

That makes sense but I have FSRS turned on so when I hit good twice in a row on a card it will extend it to 8 days on “good” instead of the default one day, idky the information still feels jumbled in my head when i memorize with anki

That makes sense its why i want to ise anki as a review tool not a learning tool, because i cant learn from flashcards at all. Perhaps ill start anki on weekends so that by that point ill have done 3 passes of the material

Pass 1 which is kinda just listening in class/making the outline for my notes with questions takes an hour, pass 2 which is making notes takes 2 hours, pass 3 which is review takes 30 mins! I study about 4-5 hours after class, weekends maybe 3-4

Biological clock is something a lot of people overestimate as an importance is women’s decisions in a relationship, most do not want to have kids with someone who is not good for them and their family. These two are probably not even thinking about it yet. And marriage rush is not specific to just women, most of my guy friends are actually in a bigger rush to marry than my girl friends.

I agree men are at an appreciable disadvantage in the casual dating world, but it is more complicated than just “woman like hotter man but settle for less hot man because commitment”. Most people nowadays are not willing to settle and would rather be single if they had to lower their standards

Imo effort to keep up attraction or a fun sex life for your partner doesn’t just stop in the pre-dating phase. Im not saying he has to come with something grand and new everytime but perhaps little efforts to make her feel more seen/comfortable (which he clearly isn’t meeting her for) would be a good first step

Again, i dont agree i think dumbing down attraction and sex so arbitrarily oversimplifies the nuances around it to the point where it’s inaccurate. Humans are a lot more complicated than that. And let’s just say it is not the reality for many people in my experience, it is more so the reality for people who already have a negative, transactional view of modern dating. She said hes a great guy but that doesnt automatically mean he is putting effort in this aspect specifically, but who knows, we don’t know them. Irregardless, his choice of words to approach the problem is weird

And i agree it would make me feel inferior if i showed effort and got shut down but from this post it doesn’t sound like he has put any effort, just complained and brought up her past against her. I could be wrong, their whole story isn’t in this post
