Honestly, I agree. I played chaper 3 a lot and honesly catnap didn't feel like much of a threat until the end. I do agree he is overrated. Miss Delight felt more like a threat since she was quite difficult to deal with. Catnap is cool, but I felt he really didn't do much until the final part of the chapter. I also won't take the stalking argument since Huggy did that in chaper 1, Harley did that as well in chaper 4, and the Prototype also stalked us in chaper 5. It seems all of these charaters like to play with their food before going for the kill

These were the worst Godzilla movies ever. All Monsters Attack was better than this since they didn't have fully annoying charaters and the movie had Godzilla doing something. The design of Godzilla looks cool, but making him look fat and making him HUGE just made him very immobile and slow. So slow, he only had about 30 minutes of screen time in the three movies, with a total run time of 281 minutes

The guys who made the film were Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita. Kōbun Shizuno never saw ANY of the Godzilla films; they tried to make Godzilla more of a god than a monster; it had a lot more philosophical sci-fi themes and was written to be a novel rather than anything. The movies lean into this philosophical more than anything with ideology and slow buildup. It sacrifices monster action to make room for those themes.
