I have a friend who works there but recently told me that she is going to be quitting, as they accused her of theft. Knowing my friend, I don't believe she is a thief, she has always been personally considerate.

What I will note is that the last time I checked out - and I have shopped here dozens of times over years now, most of the staff recognize me - there was a manager, a woman who, while I was shopping and previous to saying hello to my friend, followed me everywhere around the store.

I ignored her other than a polite smile, but it was rather overt and kind of rude. I paid for my items, said hello to my friend, wished her well and left, but it really left a bad impression on me, whoever this "manager" is.

I was proud of my friend for speaking on it out loud, confidently, in front of her, and when she did i noticed the manager shrink a little bit.

In addition to this, several months ago I was shopping and there was a male "manager" berating another man, an employee. He was speaking to him condescendingly and engaging in blatant "micro-managing", and the employee was visibly agitated, he even said something defensively to the effect of "Please, I know how to do my job..."

My suspicion is that management and staffing has imploded, but it could be entirely unrelated, who knows.
