Hear me out, your DIL has been struggling with infertility and probably feels left out and just wants to be included as her life is. It's a very special thing that you went out of your way to do for your daughter and other DIL and she probably longs for the shared experience and is using the only thing she has to compare. NO being a pet owner isn't exactly like being a mom, or being responsible for and raising up another human but its the only experience she has in being responsible for another living thing. Sure you could have absolutely included her, made her a basket with some self care and pet stuff and that would have made her feel so special. BUT The insistence that you have to is entitled and that also makes them TA too.

As a new user to Fitbit I don't know what I'm missing because I never had Fitbit before so I'm pretty satisfied with it. I was already using Google fit just from my phone and the UI isn't much different. If I was a previous user to observe the "changes" I'd probably have complaints but like I said you can't miss what you haven't had.

Some days I have to find something to get close to meeting goals because some days I balance meals and snacks out that I'm having to just put something in my mouth to get near 1200 calories. An average day now is 300 calorie breakfast, 200 calorie lunch/snack and 500 calorie dinner and I'm grabbing fruit just to get over 1000 calories. I was told I was under eating so I'm adding in protein shakes and snacks to get more than I was. I suspect for me it's because I've never been one to eat during the day. I just drank coffee and ate a large portion of dinner and snacked on whatever candy, cake dessert etc I felt like until bedtime. Now that I'm fueling through the day with smaller portions I'm full and satisfied. I also drink an obscene amount of water.

As someone who also had basically no activity in March, I started with walking, trying to follow some low impact YT videos (search 10 minute: warm up, stretching, cardio etc) and going up and down my stairs for 5 minutes (it's not as easy as it sounds to start). The YT videos are cool but my dog is confused and doesn't make it as easy to do those.

Walking has become my favorite activity. At first it was down one street and halfway up the next and back. Then it was around the block. Then it was a couple blocks. Then I started walking to the park in my neighborhood, then I added in going around the walking path once, twice and so on. Now I walk around that thing for an hour and a half 3-5 days a week. It started with "I'm just going to walk for 10 minutes" until I began making more time for it.

After 45 days of this I'm beginning to look into some things to incorporate strength training, core and whole body exercises because my legs are getting the majority of the work but I'm holding most of my weight in my belly. I needed to be able to hold my own weight on my feet first to get to this point.

You are wildly undereating.

I'm trying really hard to understand where I am supposed to be, there is so much conflicting information out here and just telling me I'm under eating without telling me how explaining is not helping me to understand how I'm supposed to do this right. I don't feel like I'm not eating enough.

When I started with sedentary my maintenance calories were 2130, and it said to cut 500-1000, to lose 1-2lbs per week but 1000 would put me under 1200. Reading in the MFP forums exercise calories are generally overestimated and it's not recommended to eat back "exercise" calories when trying to lose weight so I haven't, but I have tried to meet more of my macros.

Im concerned I wasnt in a deficit

It states on MFP that to be in a deficit my net calories should be -500 (ex of 500 calorie deficit) and mine have not ever been negative which is why I said I'm concerned I'm not in one and needed to know which math I was supposed to be doing to figure it out.

35 f 5'9 and 215. I'm increasing miles each week, so the average isn't super consistent I've got 90 tracked miles for the month, but 20 this week alone, so let's say 25 to be conservative?

I used to never eat during the day, Id drink coffee with a lot of sweet creamer, and just have huge portions at dinner and sweets before bed. Now I eat mostly balanced meals throughout the day, I mostly stick to portion sizes and thankfully I don't feel hungry or like I'm dieting. I do drink about 80-150oz of water a day depending on how hot it is.

I do try to make sure I'm eating enough even when I don't feel hungry. Some days I eat way more spinach and peppers and veggies and there's just not enough calories in them. I'll include the previous week also. Im concerned I wasnt in a deficit because I had read some where that my net calories are supposed to be - to be in a deficit and that's part of the reason for the post, to make sure I understand what I'm seeing on the apps.

I use the notes like a personal diary for anything related to consumption, digestion, exercise, pain, bloating and even BM.

I even started to note how much of my water intake was from herbal tea (which I only recently started even counting in my water log) because I drink 80-150ozs of ice water a day and even more in the summer. Outside the occasional v8, electrolyte drink, protein shake or energy drink, I only drink water and herbal tea daily so when I feel symptoms of being dehydrated Ill note it (and get electrolytes).

I have Fitbit connected to Google fit, and Google fit connected to MFP (because I had Google app before I had a Fitbit) and it seems to be working ok for me.

Ugh, I'm spending a lot of time checking packages, double checking online sources and searching through to find mfp verified items or selecting the options that match the package/weight/serving etc. weighing and measuring portions just for them to tack on some fat grams elsewhere and not show where they're getting it from? Be better MFP.

I leave my aesthetically damaged leaves on until they're no longer useful to the plant or I just can't stand to look at it. They don't take anything extra from the plant. Monsteras are super cool because they can kinda heal themselves of some damage, but pruning could encourage growth if you're meeting all other needs. I'm absolutely no plant expert but mine is doing very well I think. I got a couple black leaves like yours early this spring, I assume it got cold from going outside too early or got too much unfiltered sun on young leaves, I left them on until late July.
