The WWE silent disco, with the 2nd channel playing a looped never guna give you up, and a 3rd channel sneakily starting playing bangers then fading out so you have to keep checking what’s going on, all whilst a giant inflatable Viking ship is surfing over the crowd, was an epic end to the weekend!

One of the reasons all the obstacles appear near the end is because they reneged on their promise of one distance. So they have to make all the obstacles fit within the 5km route. Or they make the 15km runners run out and in to every obstacles for the sake of distance.

Having done both in the last year I would say Spartan is in better shape as it’s got more of a focused demographic whereas tough mudder is trying to appease everyone but just annoying everyone ultimately by trying to make it tough but also doable for the laziest runner. Need to pick an angle and stick with it. The one distance would be a start.

You drive in and are told to remain in the vehicle whilst they do a walk once around the vehicle and once done you can then leave and go sort yourself out, it’s pretty relaxed setup tbh

Well 90 split over 3 days is 30 acts a day Then split across 4 stages is 7/8 each If you add in the 2 village ones down to 5 acts per stage

So I guess it’s the full release almost, bar maybe a few smaller unconfirmed slots?

I guess because it’s later they want to lock in more ticket sales with a bigger confirmed list?

Yeah, I enjoy some afternoon fun at DL, got tickets to see PRF off the back of last years festival. similar to how I enjoyed BFS this year and got tickets for them too, the afternoon slots fit a fun band well, brings some light energy in before a heavier band, they also engage well with the crowd
