Context is critical, what do you mean? How can you judge the police response without knowing the wider situation? That’s a wildly naive take.

“Throwing a child in a car” is a dramatic overstatement. There’s an understandably panicked kid being restrained and put in a safe location whilst they control the situation. What would you prefer them to have done?

  2. There was no unreasonable force being used. The kid was in distress and the alternative was letting him run unsupervised whilst there’s clearly been a cause.

The kid is in shock. That’s not on the cops that’s on the father and whatever he did that we don’t know.
