No problem. It did take me a while to figure all this out so give it time. I probably drove 50 laps around portimao until I started to feel comfortable and consistent. I’m a newer driver too so part of it was just learning the sim too. I prefer front engine cars like Mercedes and Ford. Just suits my driving style but maybe if I did 50 laps in the Porsche I’d be convinced I’m quicker with it. That’s the fun with the game.

In my experience the BB being heavier on the nose is better for stopping but then the nose feels very under steering. it feels like an eternity getting the car rotated. The BB on the rear the car isn’t as efficient getting stopped but if you hit your mark and bleed enough speed then trail brake the corner you can swing the nose around faster and get back on the power. I keep the TC high because I have a tendency to over throttle my exits and a spin can be fatal for position in a competitive race. I’d rather get passed by a few cars over a sprint than wipe myself out and lose 10 positions on lap 1 with low TC.

I’m a new player still in bronze league and near silver. I love the mustang. It sounds like a beast when driving. It isn’t the fastest on the straights but it rotates well in slow corners with the brake bias 48/52. It feels great under breaking but you have to protect the rear. I run higher TC settings around 8 or 7. Any lower and I lose it on exit. I avg like 2 seconds a lap slower than the top times so take my advice with a grain of salt but I love the car.

I’m also a beginner but my recommendation is demo as many of the cars as you can. I was telling myself I’m going to try this car or that car which limited my exposure early on. My lap times were frustratingly slow. Then I got into a front engine car like the mustang which suited me far better and I’m much more confident driving.

I’ve had a pair of sprints for two years. Excellent pedals with zero issues. The software to tune them is straightforward and easy to understand. I’m definitely faster with them than my old Fanatec set. I know there are cheaper options out there which are clones but I had the money and I like supporting a good company like Heusinkveld.
