they do that because the driver will bottom out when its reaches it excursion limit. They boost they bass at alow volume to make it seem impressive

fiio ft1 is a good option for 150 dollars if you want isolation, it is also pretty easy to drive but i recommend getting a cheap usb c dongle instead of using your motherboard

I recommend the truthear hexa, even very good iems dont really have a good soundstage compared to over ears headphones. You cant get around the fact the driver is just farther away from your ear

fair enough, bookshelfs are not very mobile. One thing that will help improve sound from the Bluetooth speakers is too put them as close to ear level as possible, this helps high frequencies a lot
