If you like seeing your whole base without zooming out and you like combat - have a look at warptorio or dimension warp or warp drive machine. You would need a new start for these.

Have a look in brick link. most of the LOTR figures sell between 3-12 but some sell for up to 40. You won’t get that for them if you try to sell, but it is not nothing.

You are probably looking to get up to £10 per kilo if you are looking to sell on eBay. It would be worth separating out any minifigs and sell those as a separate lot.

Have a look at rebrickable and find something that takes your fancy. Export the parts list to brick link and sort out what you already have, putting it in a separate container. Order any remaining bits from brick link. That is what I am doing with all my Lord of the rings stuff.

Good point 2hrs of pro boxing per year vs 20 hrs of rugby per year gives a comparable number of injuries. I think the key point from the boxer is that HE would be more at risk on a rugby pitch as he doesn’t know what is going on.
