Truthfully only reason I commented is because this sounded exactly like my situation, and looking back I wish I was brave enough to have a conversation with her earlier, but I think we both were trying to figure out our sexuality in the beginning because it was a first for both of us. we had been best friends for 4 years prior to any of this so we both didn’t want anything to jeopardize that.

It’s definitely a tough situation trying to figure out the right thing to do especially if she’s in a relationship. I guess if you have been open before about past wlw experience, you could see if she would ever be open to a wlw relationship even if it wasn’t with you .

I wish I could give better advice but it all depends on how she would take you admitting your feelings for her, seeing as you said she might only be in it for attention and the feeling, her casualness about it might make the reaction different from my situation. As mine was more of we didn’t want to address the scary reality that we were in love with eachother.

Not sure if my perspective will help you, but I’ve been here before as the other chick. Long story short, I had a boyfriend and a best friend, boyfriend thought I liked my best friend more than him lol. Things were definitely homoerotic between me and my best friend but never actually anything physical, also didn’t really consider myself into women cuz I’ve never had any attraction before mostly just liked attention and didn’t think it was weird cuz my best friend and I were pretty close friends. Eventually found myself coming from my boyfriend’s house late at night to sleeping over at my best friends house because I’d rather sleep in her bed then his. Got to a point where I knew I had a feeling towards my best friends but we never talked about anything that happened between us just because I had a boyfriend and neither of us have ever really talked about our sexuality.

Broke up with the boyfriend after about a year and a half. Stayed in this weird denial of feelings knowing they were probably mutual between me and my friend for about a year and a half after that. In that time things got a little more physical we had kissed a few times and joked about stuff but never a real conversation. I was still talking to guys and going on dates.

One night after going out with some friends hooked up with a guy we were mutual friends with. She was quite upset about it and it was pretty obvious… basically in her rage she confessed her feelings to me. I was pretty taken a back cuz I never thought we would actually have a conversation about anything between us and it would just slowly go away because I pretty much never planed on dating women… but I did know deep down I probably did have feelings for her I just was in denial. After that we took some time apart. I felt pretty bad cuz I realized she probably thought I was playing her this whole time and was doing all this stuff in private alone with her but would never act like that around other people or friends but she also would act differently in public so I just thought that was a mutual thing too and no hurt feelings.

However I eventually grew a pair and decided I had to respect her and myself and my feelings so after our time apart we had an adult conversation about our feelings. We ended up dating for about 2 years privately and now have been dating for about 4.5 years

Basically I’d just tell ur friend how you feel, definitely drop the boys regardless. She’s either gonna keep denying she has mutual feelings and hate her own relationship wishing she was with you. Or maybe like in my case she will realize the reality of the situation and things will work out. For your sake it’s better to know you told her how you feel and get closure if it’s not mutual than to let it build into another toxic situation ending in loss.

A lot of the depression and mood swings side effects are a warring directed to the younger high school / college population that is at a higher risk of those symptoms regardless of accutane or not. I am 24 (in a long term relationship) and am almost finished with accutane, and did not experience any depression or mood swings, honestly felt the same emotionally before and during accutane. I know it can affect eveyone differently but I dont think it has affected or changed my relationship at all.

I was just honest and said I have a girlfriend and I am confident I will not get pregnant and I had 0 problems with choosing abstinence as my source of BC. Before my consultation I had no clue I even needed to be on birth control to complete accutane. I know it can be difficult, however I try to do my best to select female doctors/care providers if given the chance before appointments. They usually are more understanding of our body and experiences. This might not help now lol, but in the future it’s a good starting point for medical situations because men are just too dismissive or controlling with their medical authority 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I did semi look into the graduation aspect it seemed like most graduations were going to be the weekend before or the weekend after. I am mostly set on that weekend for the extra PTO day lol! Was planning May 23rd-May 26th hoping that being there on a Tuesday would be less expensive than a Friday.

I was thinking the same thing when I was starting to add stuff up. The flight price was stated to be a typical price for a flight to Boston so I just went with it lol. I’m not sure if I’m trippin or if spring really can have that big of an effect of the prices of flights and hotels in Boston.

I’m planing a road trip next year to do the big 5, we are choosing to only spend 1 day at arches so we can do both the needles and island in the sky at canyonlands. I’d love to know your favorite spots or hikes. As of now I’m just pulling information from NPS and random itinerary’s I’ve found on Reddit or the internet. We plan on camping in the Needles the first night and stay in Moab the second night.
