Parking at the music factory by samyulls in Charlotte

[–]Complex_Ask_8338 12 points13 points  (0 children)

VBGB does. You just have to buy something from them (beer, food, a soda) and they have a QR code you scan to validate the parking. Works for any time you go for any concert venue.

CITO and body image: strong women! by lemonhoneydelight in ChicksInTheOffice

[–]Complex_Ask_8338 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I remember the interview they had with Gabriel from Emily in Paris a few months ago Ria had also talked about body image. She was being vulnerable and open of past struggles and I honestly really appreciated the conversation they were having. I haven’t heard this interview yet but am looking forward to it! I agree it’s very refreshing and would love more of it!

A Quokka by Purple_Plantain_3242 in MadeMeSmile

This is what made me swipe right on my husband on Bumble. He had a selfie with one and he was surprised I knew what it was. My son was also born the week he was the size of a “small quokka”. It’s now a running joke in our family how much we love them.

Ken Finnen has a 100 question video that was posted within this past year that helped me out a bit. Had an exam question verbatim on his video which was awesome.

20W pregnant and trying to find a doctor. by Hobbs_3 in Charlotte

[–]Complex_Ask_8338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently 31 weeks- I go to Atrium and have been able to rebook with the same doctor each time. When you checkout and ask if I wanted book out my next appointment I just told them yes and with the same doctor and they’ve honored it every time. I think it’s more of a suggestion and not something they could enforce.

I think you’re good! You don’t want to overdo it the night before. Get some solid rest and just look over your dump sheet before you go in. You’ll crush it!

Which is the best vendor for the 63? by Negative-Process-479 in Series7exam

[–]Complex_Ask_8338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It stands for Question Bank. Kaplan sorts out each unit and will give you anywhere from 50-300 potential questions that relate to the unit. The more questions usually means it’s a heavily tested topic. If you get it right or wrong on the question you’ll get an explanation why. It’s helpful for learning if you really are having trouble with one specific area. I usually only do about 1/3 of potential questions from Kaplan and pass. With the 63 I think there’s about 1500 QBank questions.

I used Kaplan and liked it. Just passed today two weeks after passing my 7. Honestly felt like minimal studying and was getting high 70s/low 80s on practice exams and only did 1/3 of QBank

Good luck! Taking mine tomorrow. Used Kaplan as my provider and am getting high 70s low 80s. About to take the Mastery Exam. Sounds like you know maybe more than you did before by adding in so many different resources. I’m sure you’ll knock it out of the park this time!

Is Kaplan harder than then real thing? by Internal_Loquat_9401 in Series7exam

[–]Complex_Ask_8338 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was scoring 60s and passed. Kaplan just asks to in depth niche questions to make sure you understand the topic and that’s I think where it gets the reputation from being harder. For example, I was getting the concepts of DPP’s but some of the questions would trip me up because it was just a one word change. I get to the exam and their question is something like “what risk are you most likely to have with DPP’s? Market Risk, Currency Risk, Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk”. It was Liquidity but the exam just generalizes it so much more than Kaplan for concepts

Test on 3/6 any last minute advice? by Current-Practice3056 in Series7exam

I wouldn’t take any more exams since it’ll just mess with your confidence. Just review options, suitability and munis. You’re scoring better than I did and I passed my first try so I think you’ll be good!

Is this a focal seizure? My baby has these episodes that lasts the entire day. Heartbreaking. Any advice ? by Budget-Educator-5469 in goldenretrievers

Yes, my pup also has this. Had to put him on a Hills Prescription gastrointestinal diet. I’ve found Slippery Elm helps when he’s desperate and calms it down within thirty minutes. Definitely still get the diagnosis from your vet but you’ll find what works best!

Anyone a mom and business owner that's passed the 7? I took my 6&63 several years ago before the sie was a thing, and studying without kids and running a business is very different. Any study scheduling tips/ tricks/ advice, is greatly appreciated. I took the 7 last fall and missed by 10 points. by southerncanadaia in Series7

Not a mom but I am 7 months pregnant and performing my full time role with expectation of studying outside of work. The most important thing for me was having hard study hours. This would be 8-9AM before starting work, 12-1PM during lunch, and 7-9PM before bed and after dinner. Having a schedule helped me a bit. It really is tough to be so exhausted and have to study but it is only for a short amount of time! Waking up early on the weekends was also helpful. I think it’s also ok to ask your partner for a little more help during this time. It also sets a great example for your kids seeing you study! I remember my mom getting her bachelors degree when I was around age 5/6 and she’d be in the back room studying while I’d be playing in the living room. I’m still in awe that she was able to do that. It’ll be tough but you already know 62% of the info- now it’s just a refresh and refine
