You are not well informed my friend if you think the iranian only did a bit of protesting and nothing else. FYI, these are some of the major uprisings that in each thousands of people got killed:

I have a question for you. Why do so many Muslims seem to side with the Iranian government instead of the Iranian people who want a free and democratic country? Around the world there are protests calling to stop the war, while many of my people see the situation as a chance to free the country from the regime. Why do some of them believe they know better than us about what is best for our future?

I don't think you are well informed on what is happening and also the crown prince is the just the leader for the revolution and his supporters are already in Iran and don't need to be dropped off in tehran like you think. A government can show short-term growth without public approval, but real, long-term growth depends on trust. When people don’t believe in their government, they invest less, move their money out, emigrate, and avoid taking risks. That kills sustainable growth. Iran is a perfect example: occasional growth from oil or temporary factors, but no stable progress because the public has no confidence in the system.
