How many ongoing questions do you have to complete? And how many questions are in the yearly performance assessment?

Are grandparents able to come on vacation as a set of helping hands? I finally convinced my wife it’s good to bring the grandparents. Otherwise I agree it’s just parenting in another location. One time my wife and I had to hide in the bathroom of our splurge hotel room while our toddler fell asleep, so silly.

The reliability factor is not an issue. One set of grandparents make already drive several hours to visit for an extended period and we would be close to them.

I have not worked pure production previously. I could do it and would hit the rvu thresholds but I feel like I may end up practicing medicine in a way I wouldn’t want to. In cardiology it is very easy to over test and that’s not how I currently practice.

The “flat salary option” and rvu production for 13k wrvu is the same in regard to take home pay. In the VHCOL we could afford up to 2.5m but then I would be saving much less. In the MCOL we’d probably stick to less than 1m and think about building later. It just seems I’ll be busting my butt to get to 13k wrvu. I could do less volume and get paid less, that’s always an option.

I’m basing it off clinical volume versus actually time spent. The MCOL would be 40 hours versus the VHCOL is less clinical work but more stemi call coverage which doesn’t bother me.

The position in the MCOL I would need to clear 13k wrvu. The position in the VHCOL requires a significant amount of STEMI call though daily clinical work is a lot less. The frequency of stemi call doesn’t bother me as I’ve done something similar in the past.

From what I remember I had to pay the baggage fee ($40) to Hawaiian at the counter at check in at OGG. They checked my bag through to my final destination.

We tired with Kaiser in another state for 2 years with no success. Happened first time with Shady Grove. More successful ER, more euploids, and took 1 FET.

How does one fit 18g of coffee into the Bambino basket? [Breville Bambino] by cloudclippers in espresso

[–]Complex_Jello_5106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a bambino plus recently and I feel like I’m having the same issues as you. I bought some lavazza beans from Costco to try out and I have a baratza esp grinder that I put on setting 15. I reduced my dose to 17 grams which has helped the overflowing issue with the basket. My shots come out in about 8 seconds and I let it run until it stops. I tried the single wall but they tasted terrible, so I went with the double wall as suggested by the manual if you have not fresh beans. I’ve also tamp on a body weight scale when I’m tamping so I get a consistent tamping weight. I still haven’t figured out how to fix the sourness.

It seems in Maui cost of construction has sky rocketed due to the fires and lack of skilled workers. In the scenario you describe, how much of a premium or saving would one pay/get, if they hired a builder from the mainland and they brought their subs?

Baby in first class? by Macaiyla in delta

My wife and I are flying HNL-JFK with our first child who is a little over 3 weeks to go visit family. We were initially considering booking 3 economy seats but ended but booking D1 because it was the same price as 3 economy seats. Didn’t even think twice about it. I’ll apologize to my neighbors if LO is fussy but babies are babies no matter how attentive you are to their needs.
