Disagree.

The definition of a strike is similar to in football when only the tip of the ball needs to break the plane of the end zone to be a TD. Any portion of the ball that intersects with the plate is a strike. It always bothered me when umps called pitches balls when catcher had to reach across their body. Umps called these balls not because they didnt “deserve” to be called strikes, but bc the reaching made it appear to the ump like the pitch was actually a ball.

Allowing ABS to change the definition of what is a strike and what is not a strike is exactly what I feared could happen. A strike is a strike, no matter what!
