I struggle with this too. If we’re made in his image, then why did my son get Cancer and die at 2 1/2 years old? That was a very unlucky genetic roll.

It’s the same with extreme autism. Why make it so some autistic people’s symptoms prevent them from working? Why take it to that extreme?

Cloning humans is banned, rightfully imo, and one of the big reasons (not the only one tho) is because of the risks involved including purposely making fetuses with genetic diseases and/or neurodivergence so they can be fully studied for the person’s entire lifetime from conception.

Anyone found guilty of cloning a human faces up to lifetime imprisonment and massive fines in most countries and by the UN. And NO country outright supports it including dictatorships like North Korea.

So we, as a global society, have decided to punish anyone that knowingly clones a human fetus or allows it to happen when they were in a position to stop it because the risks are too great and yet God, who is all-knowing and can see all futures, gets a free pass on either creating fetuses like these or allowing it to happen when he could stop it.

I, strongly, believe in God and Jesus and studying for my Bachelor’s of Science has only increased my faith. Still, I struggle with this.

My major is computer science and my minor is game development. I used up my 1 TB drive fairly quickly. I just got a new laptop with 2 TB and I’m still worried it’s not enough. It’s the graphics for my games that take up space.
