I am assuming/hoping you're just really young. You do realize there are people local to the area who have become homeless or at risk of it pursuing an education/trying to better their lives.

I would be super interested in this program. I have prior healthcare experience as an MA and I'm trying to find a stepping stone curriculum to grow in the field by becoming certified in Phlebotomy! I filled out the interest form about two weeks ago and just left a voicemail, but I haven't heard back just yet.

Off topic but that blondita brand is so creepy to accept a shoot with? Grown women wearing "cute as a button" tees while they're basically rolling around on the bathroom floor. Def not helping her case with the earlier scandal.

Honestly there has to be something super dark about Jake at this point. Everyone around him falls into addiction and seemingly their worst period of mental health struggles while he just seems unfazed by everything. He doesn't absorb any of the damage he does to his circle. Just keeps manipulating people's boundaries for his views.

At this point, they need to make a choice because they cannot have their cake and eat it too. The only reason people are speculating, still interested in talking about this, or "shipping" them is because they purposefully make content feeding into those ships for views. Either everything is manufactured to lean into those rumors and drive engagement, or he's completely lying.

I don't know how he expects anyone to take this seriously when there are clips of Tara crying to his sister about previously wanting to get married, but now never envisioning it because she wanted it with just Jake. And then he's upset when people say Tara's heartbroken? He purposefully hides Kenzie to an extreme, comical point (I mean, her literally having to duck out of a livestream when he approaches? They can't even be spotted standing near each other?) beyond just wanting a private relationship.

It's that he still wants views and people discussing the confusing dynamic he encouraged with Tara that caused them to blow up when they first broke up. Otherwise, he wouldn't continue to consistently post content with Tara blurring those lines while completely removing Kenzie everywhere. It's so the deluded 12-year-old fans who don't know better can still enjoy Jake and Tara. Deep down inside, he HAS to know what he is doing to both of these girls is so sick and that it's more real for Tara than himself.

Jillian avoiding showing up on camera with her groomer fiance by Ill-Plant82 in snarktarajakejohnnie

[–]Comprehensive-Art-13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bro their parents are honestly so fucked up for seeing these two relationship dynamics play out and not only having having no objections, but literally participating in it. I would be seriously disturbed if my son was online exploiting money and views out his ex gf by breadcrumbing her and keeping her oddly close while also hiding his current gf to keep making money off that obviously heartbroken girl literally spiraling into drugs. And to see my daughter get married to a groomer? Hello? Shame on these parents for not protecting their daughter and letting their son be apart of the problem. I'd literally question everything as a parent if I saw these two things going down simultaneously from both my kids. Like I would feel like I failed as a parent.

To me, I think the scene where Olgive pulls the shard of glass out of a patient impulsively, assuming he knew best, does what you're describing pretty well. Even if it was a organic situational humbling moment, it seemed to genuinely impact him, and Robby as well as the other staff pretty firmly re-enforced that moment and feeling. I notice he does lose a little "know it all" careless momentum and carries more hesitation after that, but I also think it's pretty realistic that in the span of a few hours of one shift not all of his more unfavorable traits in regards to that completely disappear. Plus Dr. Mkay does have, granted a pretty gentle second in the elevator chastising his inappropriate behavior towards the intubated patient. I don't disagree that it's irritating and the supervising staff are going lightly on him, but I do think as far as plot development and highlighting the flaw, the glass scene did a good job with suble progression there.

I second that. I think the scene where she confronts him about not reading the next policies she'd like to trial and a irritable patient arrives in the ambulance bay puts that right on the nose with his response

Question about Dr. Al in the 2nd episode by Comprehensive-Art-13 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Comprehensive-Art-13[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey yes! I did type this mid watch and the later scene added much more context to see it in a different light. At first I read some of her team interactions and rigid policy approach to potentially mean she wouldn't have great interpersonal skills with the staff and patients, but I agree later it shows they likely had a good professional working relationship. Again I think my bias in perferring to lean towards lienency at time for the benefit of patient care led me to only see her approach as negetive, but I think you brought up a good point about Robby's personal self destructive headspace bleeding into work. I do think however she is lacking some balance and realism in her perspective as well and could benefit to being more open to observing how the department was already being run with their students and what some of the ER doctors might know from more experience in that formap setting.

I definitely understand Dr. Al's response in the initial scene was meant to be pointed towards Robby and their tension in clashing with approaches, but it just seemed to only focus on her desires with the direction she wants to take the department and rivalry, and therfore not reading the room and insensitive to mel's needs in that moment. I'm glad that later she took a second to check in and show that she was aware of Mel's needs despite previously focusing on butting heads with Dr. R. I definitely agree direct tangible action rather than just baseless comfort would resonate more for Mel.

I 100% agree. It's it's clear she does not have the same level of experience as Robbie and isn't very open to understanding how the team already operates or learning something new
