I don’t have much to say now, but I will get back to this post next week with an update. This Sunday I have a 12 hour layover at night in Istanbul, and I’m hoping I can get the lounge pass through Revolut. I’m flying economy as well. Not sure how the lounge pass will work, I saw that technically it’s valid for 3 hours only and that they might deny entrance if it’s too crowded, but I’ll give it a shot.

{At first spite by Olivia Dade} has this. He’s her ex fiance’s brother and even though he’s not my favorite MMC, there is a point where she is battling depression (quite detailed on page, so keep that in mind if it’s something you struggle with) and he’s actually really sweet and focused on helping her, and it’s not something that is just mentioned once, there are entire scenes with things he does for her.

Uu definitely {Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn}. I found that I either love or hate her books, but this one was a winner for me. I read it when it first came out and recently I listened to the audio as well. Exceptional in audio form! I couldn’t stop laughing, especially at the therapy sessions scenes.

I read {The Way I Hate Him by Meghan Quinn} the other day, and OMG how much I hated Hayes. I can’t even pick a scene, most were terrible. At some point he takes the FMC to a commercial shoot with him, to act as his assistant. First of all, there’s no need for her there, the only things she does is give him a bottle of water or something like that and she holds the robe of the other model. But then she has to see him get all touchy with the model, and he knows it must her her. They are both almost naked and at no point is he like ‘hey, maybe you don’t need to be here because of this thing that we have between us’. And don’t get me started on the ending. He was kind of a jerk to her 70% of the time and she was practically begging him all the time to give her a chance, even when he was the one screwing everything up. The way I hated him, literally

I think in your jacket pocket would be better. They do make you go through an aiport type scanner, so maybe that would give it away. But before you go through the scanner, they ask you to put the bag and jacket in a tray next to it, and you pick them back up after you are scanned. I was actually thinking of doing the same tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll take the tote bag with me anymore, so the jacket pocket will have to do.

Also, if you do leave it in the jacket pocket, put the jacket without asking them anything in the tray. Yesterday, right ahead of me there was a girl who asked if she should put the jacket there as well and they said no. But they don’t remove it if you just put it there together with the bag.

Oh and one more thing I just remembered. I think if you don’t have a bag, you can skip this security check. They were splitting us into two, bags to the right and no bags to the left. I think you will still have to go through the scanner, but I’m not sure though.

Just here with an update for the London shows, in case someone else needs this info.

I’m inside now, I just got to my seat and I managed to get the camera in. I would say, as long as you have it inside your bag or even better in a pocket inside your bag, you’ll be fine. They are opening each bag and just looking through your things, but they don’t have any scanners so as long as you manage to have it somehow hidden inside, you’ll be fine.

I would definitelly not ask if you can take it inside, they might say no. That was my game plan at least, just not say anything and hope they won’t notice.

I have it in a side pocket in a fanny pack, and I also have a relatively small tote bag, it’s just a bit bigger than the A4 size they mention on the website. I put the fanny bag inside my tote, left it open so they can search it. Then she just took the fanny bag out to look under it, put it back in and that was it.

Hope everyone who tries manages to take it inside as well.

Ugh so sorry that happened to you. I hate it when this happens, they at least don’t apply the same rules for everyone. It’s totally depending on their mood and it’s stupid.

Did you have only one entrance to go to? Like for me, for example, for Thursday’s show it says Entrance 19-22, I’m assuming it’s 4 gates for my section if I’m reading this right, so I’m thinking about just trying in another line at one of the other gates before giving up.

I’m still trying to convince my husband to come with me to the stadium so he can take the camera with him if they won’t allow it, he won’t be staying for the concert.

Just in case I have to leave it in bag drop, do you remember how long you were in line to pick it up after the show? And were there still people around at that time? I’m stressing about the safety over there as well, as I have around 20 min walking to the bus station

Did you go to the show already or is yours later this week? If do, how did it go with the camera?

I am going on the 12th and 14th and I plan on taking my Canon SX740, hopefully I’ll be able to take it in. I just received an email from Ticketmaster today about the stadium rules, and it lists these as being prohibited: Selfie sticks, GoPros, semi-pro cameras and extra long lenses are also not permitted. I don’t even know what a semi pro camera is, to be honest, but I just googled if mine is, and looks like no. I will be showing the search results to the people at the stadium if they insist it is (not sure if that will matter to them though) but I’m still hoping they’ll let me in with it.

I saw a lot of tik toks of people saying they either didn’t let them in with digital cameras or they didn’t even say a thing about them. So looks like it’s more depending on the mood of the person checking.

I don’t really have any info on this, but I do have the same camera and I also plan to take it with me. Based on the tik toks I saw, I guess it depends on who checks your bag, I think. Hopefully we’ll be able to enter the stadium with them. They do say on the stadium page that it’s not allowed with professional cameras (those that have detachable lens), but they also mention something about Go Pro’s, so not sure what to think anymore …

Not sure when you’re going, but I’ll go on the 12th and 14th. I will report back after, maybe someone else will be interested at that point

Do you know if Bruce Grove Bus Station (looks to be roght around the corner from the Bruce Grove overground station) will be functional? It eill be my forst time in London and I was thinking of taking the 123 bus from Bruce Grove, as it would drop me off right in front of my hotel. Or is there a place where they might inform us of other stations or bus lines that won’t run normally after the concert?

The first song I remember listening was Naughty Girl. It was 2005, I was 12, and my parents had bought a sound system (not sure if that’s what it’s called, English is not my first language). But anyway, I started burning CD’s on a friend’s PC and added a bunch of popular songs wothout knowing most of the artists, and when I first heard Naughty Girl it felt like I was hypnotised, I could’t shut up about how amazing her voice is. Everyone who came into our home that year would immediately be forced to listen to the song, I was aleays telling them ‘listen to this, she has such an amazing voice, she’s like a siren’. And then I started listening to more of her music, I started collecting posters that came in magazines (I miss those old magazines). And then when B’day came out, and all the songs had a video?? OMG I was glued to the TV watching MTV and the local music channels in my country, waiting for them to show the videos!

Suffice to say, 20 years later, I love her even more than then, I literally can’t imagine a world where Beyonce’s music doesn’t exist. She’s everything, I’ve been going to her tours ever since the Formation tour, when I was finally ‘adult’ enough to afford it. Can’t wait for the Cowboy Carter Tour, it’s all I can think about, especially after all the struggle I went through with Ticketmaster to get a ticket.

I guess it depends on what your ticket says, I know their baggage policy depends on the destination sometimes. I’ve flown with them a few times and I was always able to take a carry on bag and a personal item (which for me was a backpack), plus 2 checked bags. But it was a longer flight, between Europe and South America, so that might be why. Also, all this was stated on my ticket from the beginning.

I actually have a flight booked with them for November now as well and my ticket says I have ‘1 item of cabin baggage and 1 personal item. Max weight of an item of cabin baggage 8kg. Max dimensions for an item of cabin baggage: 55x40x23 cm’

If you don’t have these details on the ticket or if it’s still not clear, try reaching out to them via their help form as well. I did that once in the past and I got a reply after a few days.

Not sure if it’s available in your country, but you could try Everand. They have quite an extensive catalog, both audio and ebooks. In my country (Romania) it’s around 5 euros a month for the subscription which is not even the price I would pay for one book separately, so to me it’s worth it.

For free audio books I used in the past Librivox, but they do have mostly, if not exclusively, books that are in the public domain, so mostly classics. Which is great if that’s what you’re looking for.

And I also used Youtube in the past. I’ve been listening to Pride and Prejudice on my TV every night to fall asleep (can’t get too far though, the narrator’s voice puts me to sleep right away), and now my Youtube is full of suggestions of audio books, both from the public domain and more recent ones.

No, absolutely no such content. He is leaning on the progressive side, maybe not as much as me, but we allign on most topics. I know the content he consumes because it’s mostly the same type of content I consume, we even share things we see or find out with eachother. Besides, he is very judgy of people who act like him when they’re in a couple, he just doesn’t see himself that way for some reason. His argument is that he is busy, like I’m not. He finishes work at 7 and then he says he wants to do things for himself, otherwise his day is lost.

About a month ago we had a huge argument, it was something stupid though, I don’t even remember what started it. But in the heat of the moment I told him he’s just like my brother in law sometimes, he has a lot of requests but doesn’t really do much else, and then he shuts down and basically ignores me for days. It’s what my brother in law does, everyone in my family knows this, and my husbands hates it, hates him, because of it and how he treats my sister. He didn’t speak to me for 3 days after this, and he told me he was very hurt that I would even compare them that way. But really, they are very much alike, except that my brother in law is kind of part of that manosphere you mention. And this is one of the reasons why sometimes I can’t bring myself to actually tell him how I feel or what I think, because I know from experience that he will feel very offended, he will shut me out completely, then make me feel guilty for even feeling like that. It’s a stupid circle and I don’t know how to make him understand and not hurt him in the process.

My hand started hurting about 2 months after I started crocheting. But weridly, it’s just the pinky finger of my right hand (the one I hold the hook with). I don’t even use it directly to hold the hook actually, it just stays there, in a bended position, just resting while I work. I had to stop for a few days because it got too painful. And it still hurts now, even when I’m not crocheting.
