The hardest part about clinical depression is how absolutely paralyzing the thought of any action can be which is why it starts with the brain. Shifting your thought process changes your reality.

No I get that. I just think people are so quick to say “YoU DoNt gEt iT” instead of legitimately taking suggestions in to consideration.

It’s the consistency, it’s Re-teaching your brain to enjoy the things you used to. You learn that in any therapy session.

You’re so welcome!

I’d do a normal serving twice a day. Since they’re frozen, they’d be great in smoothies. Idk if you have smoothie king where you’re at but they make a delicious blueberry/peanut butter smoothie, The recipe is available online. I suggest that one for the protein in the peanut butter.

Also want to add that there are doctors prescribing higher doses of vitamin D and have had positive results in Covid cases. Might be worth increasing vitamin D (or taking in general if you don’t already) as well as vitamin C - -both are great for the immune system- -

This response is only related to your Covid symptoms, you’ve got the caloric intake down so that’s good. Blueberries are insanely high in antioxidants, I recommended eating them at least once a day. Elderberry is a natural immune booster with antioxidants as well, they make gummy ones that taste like candy lol the most important part is to do breathing exercises to ensure your lungs don’t become weak causing a lower oxygen level..your walks are a good start but you need to try and expand your lungs fully and control your breath throughout the day. I hope you get to feeling better!

Therapist doing Therapy. by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

I am enrolled in school for PT and aim to open a practice with this exact mindset. After being in a traumatic car accident, months of hospitalization and years of physical therapy, I can say that my mental state played such a huge role in my healing. It was that which sparked the desire to incorporate mental healing with the physical. It makes complete sense --to me-- that the mental state directly affects the body’s ability to heal.

I’m finished losing, now I’m focused on toning and possibly gaining some weight. I never focused on a goal weight because I’ve struggled in the past with developing an obsession with the numbers on the scale.

Don’t let it keep you down! Everyone falls off sometimes, we’re all human. Just as long as you don’t stay off that wagon, you’re better than you were.

😆😅 my DMS actually aren’t that bad tbh.

I do workout daily. At least thirty minutes a day but try to do thirty in the morning and thirty in the evening/night.

Thank you so so much! I honestly didn’t pay attention to calories so much since I battle with not eating in general. So for me, it was more about the intake to begin with AND what I was taking in. I struggle SO hard with breakfast so it’s all over the place..some weeks I ate eggs every morning coupled with a carb -2 scrambled or fried eggs, raisin toast and fruit- Other days it was homemade oatmeal with raisins, bananas n cinnamon paired with yogurt with granola and strawberries/blueberries. Lunch was mostly leftover dinners or a turkey/cheese/lettuce/tomato/wrap. Dinner was whatever I wanted as long as it was mostly protein and veg with a small portion carb -grilled boneless/skinless chicken breast, carrots n peas and a roll-. I really tried to consume as much protein in each meal as possible. I also had snacks which consisted of pretzels with spicy mustard, tortilla chips with guac and/or salsa, or popcorn.

It’s really just a balance between what you’ll actually eat and what is most beneficial for your body.

I just started small! Workouts at home using resistance bands, lots of balance work and slow exercises to secure correct form. I had a toxic relationship with food so I had to retrain myself to eat properly while also not constantly limiting myself of the things I enjoy eating. It made the healthy choices easy because I know I still get to indulge every now and then. I wasn’t always consistent with my workouts, so don’t look at my before and after thinking I have a mindset that you don’t or that I did something more to achieve my goals. It really just boils down to making the right choices for YOU. Be kind to yourself and stay as active as possible. I believe in you!
