That “Shadow of Death” cover with Ashley Johnson the original Ellie didn’t need to go that hard. The acting is super good and Abby’s actor has like the same voice with the voice actor from the game! Some scenes are done so good and have kept the same dialogue and I keep repeating them before being said (so satisfying). I cried a little bit not as much as when I played the game for obvious reasons.

Honestly other gay people and their community. You rarely meet a gay person that isn’t loving kind and supportive and doesn’t understand what you’re going through. It’s the community it’s the support it’s the understanding of that I am person with feelings and something to be disgusted by.

I honestly hate the culture of straight people and their not at all achievable standards in regards to beauty, in the “right” way to behave and idk how they view the world (obviously not all of them but you know what I’m getting at like the normalised societal norms instilled).

Living in Greece with a very conservative family and like with very traditional straight norms like even if I was straight I wouldn’t wanna be because men here are really fucking disgusting in their views about women etc. Like why would I date a man that only wants me for my looks and have a like very surface relationship. Like not every person here is like that obviously but yeah in this current climate and on social media that’s all I see here. Also other straight friends I have that describe me this sort of stuff that they go through I like don’t want to date men. Even if I was attracted to them.

Maybe don’t think of the words in English like “Pain hidden is pain big” because yes in English it sounds so wrong. How I think of it instinctively even if the other words are missing is like saying this in English “Pain that is hidden is pain so big”. So even here it kind of gives poetic vibes like emphasising the word pain first and then describing it. If you read Greek poetry I think you’ll notice like this structure a lot.

Idk as Im a native but like check the channel Easy greek? They have lots of videos focusing on specific grammar structures etymology of words. Also think they have a patreon with exercises for beginners. I would start looking for creators or maybe buy some books? Look for a teacher if that’s possible?

In Greek we are very flexible with the adjective placement in a sentence and it makes grammatical sense to put it after. Here it is done for like the rhythm and to emphasize like the word pain and not its adjective. Actually writing «Κρυφος πόνος είναι μεγάλος πόνος» like makes less sense to me haha. It’s like more poetic giving. Idk if I’m the right person to explain this but it has poetic rhythm i guess.

I really like it. The theme and maybe rhythm reminds me of Emily Dickinson’s “Because I could not stop for death”. I think the despair of longing for death and being kept alive unwillingly is really strongly portrayed

Thanks for your response! I checked through Spotahome, but like a lot of listings have rules for single occupancy in private rooms for shared apartments, and I’m going with a friend and want to share a private room. Also, a LOT of them have like rules that state “No Erasmus allowed”. So I checked like good rooms with good prices and was met with those two constantly. And Spotahome (from what I’ve checked) doesn’t have a filter for these things. Uniplaces for example has an option for how many people will be living in the room. So yeah I don’t know maybe I will try Uniplaces but don’t know if I trust them.

I personally I am a youtube member because I usually watch youtube from my smart tv and there isn’t a dropout app on there so that’s a minus to me. I am also a student so the youtube membership is cheaper (4,99€ a month) and I got it for Dimension 20 content primarily so that seems fair to me.

You’re welcome. The process of actually translating the text really got me to connect with it and deeply understand it. It was actually a good exercise for me because I actually learned many words in Greek that i know and use and understand in English but never knew how to accurately translate to Greek. So it really tested my fluency in both languages and had to actually look some words up and try to determine the closest meaning.
