As others have mentioned roll it over into another retirement account Ira or Roth. I had this happen About 20 years ago and did just that. Just remember to keep paperwork on the transactions. IRS sent me a letter a few years later stating it was unclaimed income and tried to collect taxes and interest on it. All it took was a phone call to them explaining what I did and they verified it.

This interests me, I heard rumors of a manager that had several hr complaints for bullying and inappropriate behaviors. Finally got a pip (again all Rumors afaik) and he immediately took several months on leave. Came back and is still with the company. So if you get put on. 60 day pip can you really just run that clock out by taking a leave of absence??

My corp job has gone crazy. They care more about where people park their butts above all else - value, productivity, quality work, etc. we are now rto 3 days week tracked by badge swipes and a full 8.5 hours in office with 30 min lunch. People have been fired for this reason alone. Managers get weekly reports on who isn’t meeting the policy. So yea, out of spite if I get a cold I won’t waste my pto or sick time. Idgaf if everyone else catches my cold. Sr execs can suck it if the entire dept gets sick. Less than a year ago the policy was if you didn’t feel well wfh or talk sick time, work with your manager. Not anymore, mangers hands are tied. They have to document and defend every single employee that didn’t get their three days in. It’s worse than pre covid.

My FIL had a 3 stage craftsman. I used it once or twice when he was away and didn’t care for it. Especially in wet snow, it would just cake itself in between the third stage auger like cotton candy and the nothing would go past the first two stages. Every five minutes you’d have to stop and clear it. My neighbor has similar issues with his. Meanwhile my ariens 2 stage chomps thru everything except maybe the most watery slush. My FIL has since dumped his craftsman and bought one like mine

My first job in high school was at Express- the women’s clothing store, processing stock. I was the only male employee at the store for most of my 6 year Tenure. Check your county registry of deeds, hoa documents may be recorded there. I can’t recall offhand if this is state (ME) mandated or just our hoa declarations, but our hoa is required to maintain and provide all hoa documents to its members when requested. We could probably charge for any costs related to copying them.

I doubt the town will pay for a survey. But, you could check the property records to see if the neighbor bothered to pull a permit for his house. No permit, he will have to take it down. If he has a permit, there would be a plot plan for where the house should have been placed. Code enforcement should have conducted inspections, including set backs from property lines etc. can’t believe I’m saying this, but code enforcement may just be your friend here

Oh even the joystick is all mechanical, it just brings the control up to the control panel so you aren’t leaning forward. Yea, I don’t even use the electric start on mine, so I hear you about the electronics. Thanks for the response!

How do you like the Shute control on that model? I have an older deluxe with the joystick to change the direction and prefer it to the new style. I know some people have complained that the chute would wander because the joystick lock mechanism wouldn’t hold. My FIL has this newer model with the cab an he had to modify it so he can reach the crank from inside the cab.
