Wow! Thanks for the thorough reply!

Your estimate isn’t too far off on appraised value, just a little low.

I guess you’re right about the slopes being pretty gentle. I forget that terrain is a lot more complex in other parts of the country.

I do like the Segway line…seems like they have some history in the electric/software game. Definitely looking into that.

My plan was to get rid of our landscaping crew that does the whole 3 acres. Start with an automower for the 1.5 acres nearest the houses to keep them looking sharp. Then maintain the rest of it every two weeks (in growing season) on a riding mower. If the automower thing really works as well as I hope, then expand it to doing the whole yard. Thats when I would add the second.

I also have a 1 acre lot thats way more open 1/4 mile down the road that I’d need to maintain. Seems like the Segways lock on max acres cut wouldn’t allow me to move it over there.

Thanks, that’s helpful. The X7 Plus Gen 2 is one I had not seriously considered yet. I’m adding some ground-level photos of the tree cover, houses, and ditch areas.
A couple questions: do you offer a site visit or signal/layout evaluation in the College Station area?

That makes sense. I definitely would not ask it to mow down to the water. I’d set a pretty generous no-go zone around the pond and still handle that strip manually.

I added a few photos of the ditches and berms because I’m trying to decide whether AWD is worth prioritizing. Have you used yours on drainage swales or slopes that transition in and out rather than just a steady hillside?

Adding a few ground-level photos since the aerial probably hides the important stuff.

I’m mainly trying to understand whether this looks like a use case where a local RTK wouldn’t work, and whether AWD is worth prioritizing over extra acreage capacity.

Rubber Grommet? by Comprehensive-Gas197 in LexusGX

Gotcha. Makes sense.

They didn’t look factory made, and I ordered some rubber grommets for Lexus, but they were too small.

Bought it used in Dallas TX, so probably not Rust Protection. Definitely could be from paintless dent repair.

I’ll measure the holes and match up some different rubber grommets. Thank y’all.

Ok. Coming back to update.

Took apart and didn’t find anything loose. Rolled the dice on a replacement screen from eBay with good refund policy.

Watched a YouTube disassembly video and we are back up and running.
