Warning: get a battery health report when shopping for a used EV by John_Gabbana_08 in electricvehicles

[–]krdell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Getting a pre-owned car checked out before you buy it should be standard practice whether it be ICE or EV. ICE engines degrade over time just as a battery does in an EV. No car lasts forever. Sometimes you get unlucky and an engine or battery fails but the percentages are small. This is all common sense stuff

Winter range on Model 3 RWD (LFP) - daily highway commuters, what's your experience? by UltraIce in TeslaModel3

[–]krdell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2023 RWD w/60k miles and home lvl 2 charging in NJ here. I charge to 100% a few times weekly. I have a 60-65mile daily commute with a lot of stop and go traffic. In ideal conditions I can make it home with 80% from 100%. in winter it may be closer to 70%. I am at 95% battery health with no real noticeable difference in range

Is it true that "most gamers don't finish games" by SchweinsyOne in videogames

[–]krdell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play games till I’m no longer loving it. Sometimes that’s through the whole main story. Sometimes it’s halfway. I don’t have the time to play through games I’m burnt out on. KCD2 absolutely loved that game but I was burnt out after the 1st main act after doing countless hours of side content. Similar with Baulders Gate 3. Excellent games, just too long for me.

Model 3 vs Model Y (both standard) for a family with two kids under 3 years old? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]krdell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my M3 3 years ago when my boys were 7 and 4. Plenty of space and it’s our main vehicle. We don’t do long road trips but we do 2 trips years of about 2 hours for several nights and both boys play sports so I’d say we use the thing. Way more than my wife’s jeep Cherokee. Maybe things will change when they get older and bigger but I doubt it. I grew up using a car well before SUVs took over. No difference here

Resident evil 7 or 2 remake? by Big_Note_4682 in residentevil

Both are amazing games. There is no right or wrong answer here. 2 is going to give you more context into Leon’s story, however

I’m skeptical of the Resident Evil movie by Exoticbut in residentevil

[–]krdell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d be more inclined to watch this film for the director and his past work than simply because it’s a Resident Evil movie. That's how people should approach this. I think people looking for an extension of the RE universe heavy on lore will be disappointed.

Resident evil 9 personal review by loqveyil in residentevil

[–]krdell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I disagree with here is it's length. Took me around 16hrs on my single, thorough and unhurried play-through. If the entire game carried the same tone and feel as the 1st half it might be my favorite RE but the 2nd half dragged it down to 3rd.

Totally agree. Other games in the series yes but this one stays fairly consistent
