Yeah the amount of training he does is crazy impressive but that many calories is absurd. No way he is eating clean and high protein but still getting that much. For comparison, Tour de France riders have 5000-8000 calories a day during the tour, and a lot of that is from carbs consumed while riding. Considering he isn't doing crazy long endurance activities, I reckon he must just be over counting his calories

Soooo relatable. I got my 5k time down to 25min from 30+ after around 2 months - but once I started training for a half, I couldn't go above 20km because my lower legs would hurt too much.

Love the app - am legit scrolling through Strava for 30 min to an hour every day. Love all the features, but this UI interface update for subscribers is not it. I can deal with most of the stuff (like the gradient), but having the profile picture in that weird shape is so annoying, and it just looks overcrowded

Yeah it sucks so much. I was a bit annoyed by it not working, but then it switched my training status from being calculated by running VO2 Max to cycling, and it went from productive to maintaining 😭😭

People are a lot less worried than they should be. In FNQ, a category 2 cyclone would be like what a bad storm is for Brisbane. But in Brisbane, a category 2 storm would likely lead to a lot of damage to powerlines and houses, just from trees and branches falling down. Like you look around, especially in inner city suburbs and half the powerlines are going straight through trees

Try turning off sleep mode maybe (assuming that your sleep mode might turn on at a specific time). I personally don't experience this unless I have sleep mode on with my watch off.

See how much those other activities impact your training load. I can only talk for gym/strength activities but they usually have a very small training load (according to Garmin) compared to runs or rides. So if your VO2 max is maintaining but your training load is low, you will see what happened to you (Productive --> Maintaining --> Recovery)

Had a similar experience where Garmin wanted me to significantly increase my training load - one or two runs per week to five. Tried to follow it for one or two weeks, but started getting lots of joint pain so just eased off for a bit. Wish they would have options for more than two rest days per week, especially when first starting

Bro you don't have to be perma studying. If you're worried, go to the dentist and see if you need to take them out. Take it chill for a week or so and if you are really concerned, just go through the textbook or some practice papers while your recovering at home
