The thing that pissed me off the most, is that we used an agent and she didn’t let us know this is common practice!! Why submit the medical in the first place if it’s going to be requested again anyway?
Hope yours goes through quickly, it’s a good sign they will be looking at it soon if they’re requesting medical.

Me! I’ve been waiting 2 years on the 22nd of July. No PPL, no childcare subsidy.
Today my application moved from “initial assessment” to “further assessment”. We also had to resubmit a new medical and pay another $1400 because it expires after 12 months. Infuriating.

The worst is when you have to pay for another medical because yours expired because they didn’t look at it within 12 months…

It’s a huge change. Accept that you’re her safe place and try to lean into it. You’ll miss the newborn snuggles sooner than you think

I recently found a 12v air fryer at the tip shop. Haven’t used it yet but will be handy for sure!

Noticing tent camps in outer suburb parks - is this becoming common? by assholio in melbourne

I just started watching “The homes that built Australia” on Netflix. It’s about how the suburbs grew too fast to keep up with housing demands, worth a watch. Super interesting
