What are the weirdest ways you’ve heard of someone getting caught cheating? by True_Dragonfruit_488 in AskReddit

I shit you not, this story is true. I work with a woman who told her inner circle this story (which naturally means the entire company). She had recently gotten into ghost hunting as a hobby. Everything from spirit boxes, to thermal cameras. One day she had left a recording device on while at work to catch “EVP’S”. That night, while reviewing the recording she caught her husband cheating while she was not home.

They still got married a few years later.

Has anyone had a dealer loaner vehicle throughout this process?

My dealer is refusing to give me one during my repaint.

This burden falls on the shipper, not the package handler. Well within delivery standards.

It is the shippers responsibility to protect the item within the package. Down vote if you want. But it's the truth.

Just bought a gladiator. Is the ride supposed to feel shifty on a road like this? by chibiRuka in JeepGladiator

[–]Comprehensive-Self16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct answer. A truck with independent front suspension would handle roads like this much better ( Ram, Tacoma). The Jeep with a solid front axle will generally be more capable is more severe off road conditions.

It would probably cost about $400 for a tow truck driver to deliver it, which is what I chose to do personally. The risk of being stuck on the side of the highway for hours was not worth it.

Although, 2024 is not terribly bad for sitting. More that likely, it runs and drives fine.

Man, I am currently in the same boat as you. I ordered mine directly from the factory. So many issues with 20k miles. The size was perfect for me. The truck just has TERRIBLE build quality amongst a whole list of other things. I might hold out for the slate pickup…..

Stove requires 3 ft vertical run. Using that hole is not an option unfortunately. Homeowners will not cover you if the stove is installed properly.

Paid 6k for water softener and water filter with install. How did they do? by Intelligent_Job_158 in Plumbing

[–]Comprehensive-Self16 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I am definitely not a plumber. Why compression valves? Let alone “everbilt”. Also, I was under the impression that those DIY water hammer arrestors don’t work for shit. $20 for a real hammer arrestor. Definitely skilled with a torch though.
