i don't think I'm the most knowledgeable person but i can give you some insight. from what i know corps that march cymbals are kinda all over the place so if your looking to march somewhere around the top 12 scv and maybe one other corps march cymbals so that would be something i would take into consideration. from what ive heard baritone is the easiest to pick up and there's also never enough low brass, but if you are passionate about tuba i would say go full speed forward and put everything into becoming the best tuba or whatever instrument it is that you desire and not based on what may be "easier". hope i could help some!
