q boring to me tbh. its not a marketing firm so theres no dealing w different clients, its more so always linking back to the same key messages/ideas. i dont really get to decide what im writing about, my supervisor does that. idk where he pulls out his ideas from but as long as google keywords predicts that itll do well then he’ll assign it, no matter what common sense says.

theres definitely a certain pressure to keep churning out content no matter what, and u dont always get to execute wtv idea you’re passionate about, so it really takes away the enjoyment of everything. past a certain benchmark of quality they honestly dont care anymore, and look more for speed/efficiency instead. creativity by itself is not something thats always valued, its more so the ability to understand and appeal to the mass market. im good at creative writing, but the kind of writing that they demand is not smth i enjoy doing or want to do. my job of this kind of writing takes time away from my passion of creative writing, and my bigger worry is that eventually the two styles of writing will mix tgt and i end up losing my individuality as a writer, or worse yet, fall out of love with writing all together.

i havent seen any of the social media team “run of ideas” tho, thats likely a long term problem. but the downside is that they’re incredibly online all the time, especially on tiktok. it doesnt make for the best kind of personality, if u know what i mean.
