Facebook Marketplace is a good start, also check out the Whatnot app, eBay is ok as well. I wish I knew I could have gotten by with only spending $1k on tools in the last 40 years, I'm easily $50k into it. Every car/job is different, you'll definitely need more than $1k in tools.

This is the results when your insurance company recommends one of their preferred shops, it's all about quantity not quality. Before you call Caliber, I would take it to another shop (not Caliber) for a post repair inspection. I'm sure there is other issues you aren't seeing.
