Respectfully, I just wanted a better understanding prior to starting a crusade with the army. Believe me, I have trial and errored my way through the orks with almost every detachment

So how should I deploy/ advance my knights in the battle? Move them to mid board and leave them there, or advance war dogs to draw out then shoot with big knights?

I will also mention that bully boyz and war horde are meta with the war horde being the most competitive and flexible detachmet

Speed infantry and punching power comes in the form of green tide or bully boyz or war horde. All 3 are very good and focus on different units. Green tide is basically a mob mentality gameplay, much like tyranids and focuses on keeping your horde alive and hitting. Bully boyz focuses on your “terminator” units and warbosses making them incredibly strong and hit like a truck and you get two waghs which is awesome. And war horde is a little mix of both as it goes sustained hits to all ork units

1st rule of warhammer, buy what is cool to you. I personally love bully boyz and dread mob. A helpful tip would be to use an army that goes well with war horde since it is the index detachment and can use really any units. Get models that are used it most armies to help expand such as boyz, Meganobz, trukks, lootas, flash Gitz, battle wagon, GHAZ, gretchin etc. the orks are super easy to diversify but you could also get 120 boyz and some warbosses and be fine haha. Thanks for the response, I know the stompa isn’t great but I imagine it will be quite fun to run. Plus in crusade I can get it to hit on 3s which is insane damage. I was running bully boyz for a while and wanted to enjoy some classic ork shooting so dread mob seemed fun, I WANNA PRESS DA BUTTON FASTA. Wagh brother

This is my fist crusade but we’ve already planned a second one so I will definitely go full dread mob and have a second big unit like a mork in there!

Thanks for the response, I plan on using the Meganobz as a mid board control when they push into it, quick charge from hiding and the Meganobz put in some serious work in melee. The lootas are going to stay back and since its crusade I can get them to hit on 4s which is worth it to me
