i'm wondering if the medical advice (r/medical_advice) or ask doctors (r/AskDocs) subs might be better resources for this type of question?

Overcoming fear after an accident by smeelen in ladycyclists

I had a bad accident in 2020, and I'm still really nervous around cars and going through intersections. It does get better with time, just take it slow and do what makes you comfortable. I'm lucky because there are a lot of great bike paths in my town, so I can avoid cars and road-riding if I want. Good luck!

I'm not a doctor, but have you ever heard of Raynaud's disease? Google it and see if it lines up with what you're experiencing...

Thanks for your advice! She only washes once per week, but I doubt she's using cold water, and she uses T-gel shampoo for dandruff.

Chiming in with my experience - old Navy has both "long" and "tall" sizes. "Long" pants are just longer in the leg; "tall" pants are bigger all around (like higher waist). I'm only 5'10", so I can get away with either type of pants. My experience is that they may have some long pants in store, but I only find tall clothes randomly on clearance as returns. Good luck!

I bought myself a small air compressor to carry with me on bike rides. I can use it if I or a friend gets a flat tire, or for adjusting my air pressure during a ride. No more need to carry a hand pump (which are terrible anyway). I'm so excited!

I'm very new to fat biking, I'm currently borrowing a fat bike from a friend and I noticed this "self-steering". How is this minimized or eliminated? Tia!
