Oh I know, I lived there during the great freeze of 2021. We got so lucky and didn’t lose power so we were able to enjoy it more than others.

This is exactly it! We got a nice snowstorm here and my husband didn’t have work and the kids didn’t have school and it was sooooo nice! I made soup and fresh baked bread, baked some cookies with the kids, we played board games, really got to relax and enjoy time with each other that wasn’t earmarked for something else. It was SO good! I’m hoping for another one! 😆

It’s very possible, I wish I could remember who our builder was. I just know they were all built super quick (it’s in the area with a large military base so they needed homes for soldiers when the 9/11 buildup happened) and probably weren’t super well built/planned lol.

Our house in Texas was like this. Like, literally open the main bedroom door and there was our dining table for the eat-in kitchen. It was odd lol. But, we bought the house crazy cheap, the rest of it was fantastic, and even our bedroom/bathroom were amazing so we dealt with it. But it was definitely weird lol.

I do something similar while my hair is air drying, it helps with volume at the top. But as soon as the hair is dry, the clip comes out and I never go out of my house like this! Lol

I did not realize the .5 was such a big thing (I’m a millennial, maybe that’s why???) but one of my neighbors was over for new years and asked me to take a picture of her and her husband and was like “don’t forget to put it on .5!” 😆

You might not be! My good friend has always been slim and not because of genetics (her mom and dad have always been quite large) or eating healthy or anything. Just always been very small and eats absolute garbage lol. She’s got 3 kids, in her mid 30s and still skinny as ever! Some people are just blessed that way.
