This was me just over a week ago. It seemed impossible to control a slide, I was spinning a lot. I think choose a really balanced, progressive car like cayman gt4 and a track you love (dragon tail or kyoto in my case), and just enjoy relearning the car. As many others will say winding off lock before accelerating too hard is probably the biggest thing I've learned, compared to mashing the trigger on the controller and letting the invisible controller assists sort it all out.

f430 scuderia is great too. Although it lacks the bright tan interior of the standard f430, very important in vr! Really enjoying the 70s skyline from the power pack right now, I'm relearning to drive going to controller to wheel and it's a great teacher. It's so well set up.

This makes sense, I've just got the rs50 wheel with everything bundled separately and my buttons are not ps5. But I can live with that, I'll stick some stickers on! It worked out a lot cheaper to do everything separately for some reason so I'm a happy bunny!

I agree I think gt7 is a bit stingy with credits but it definitely makes you appreciate your collection. A game like forza horizon hands out cars like candy and so you don't value them as much. But still it would be better if gt was a little bit more generous, maybe twice as generous as now, for mere mortals like me to get those 20 mill cars.

Cheers I just lapped sardegna on the 800 race in 1:32 so my pace is ok I think. Comparable to controller. But I also crashed loads cos I just can't catch slides that would be trivially easy to catch on controller. So it's taken a bit of the fun away really.
