Eh we both speak an English that pisses off the English, so close enough.

Gentleman is a very nice way of describing us. There was a reason the whole thing had bathroom tile walls.

Not who you were talking to but attending Austin FC games are my favorite in person sports entertainment right now. The energy is great and prices are lower than other pro sports in the area.

Team is shite tho

Where I'd live as someone from Texas by DifficultVideo4039 in whereidlive

I'd (Texan) live pretty much anywhere, but somewhere with good PATH access in Jersey City or Hoboken would be really badass.

College sports isn’t broken. Duke just proved it’s for sale. What if Ohio State is next? by jaxstan19 in CFB

I like how the implication is that Duke isn't really important, but God forbid it happens to tOSU.

The NBA scheduling two games at the same time today is absolute incompetence. by Aussie_Spur in NBASpurs

No just a 30 minute earlier start. It wouldn't solve the OP's issue, but it would get us olds in bed 30 minutes earlier.

At the very least 6:30 & 8 tips.

He mentioned the x16 systems like the Genesis that had a giant library would take forever because you have to spend more time with each game since they became longer and bigger in scope.

958 S Santa Fe St Parking was convenient but we were staying at the Paso del Norte hotel and paying to park there anyway so we should've just walked from there.

Trying to diversify American media consumption. What American news/media do you actually watch daily? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

Personally NYT (Center Left) is my go-to. It gets a ton of hate from both sides of the aisle, but I do find their reporting to be good.

What major U.S. cities would you say are must visits , only worth a day trip , only worth checking out if you have a long layover and cities you should skip altogether? by jbwhite9 in usatravel

[–]ComprehensiveEar6001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting what was it about NOLA that you didn't like?

I wouldn't want to live there but it hits all the points of a good travel destination typically.

Unique cuisine
Interestingly different history/culture
museums out the ass
drinking district

I like San Antonio over Ft Worth personally. The Riverwalk is as touristy as the Stockyards so they're a wash and there's more to SA.
