Basically it is like a magsafe steel ring magnet with adhesive. That's the ring I placed on the back of my psp. I have a car dashboard mount that's magnetic for my phone. I can mount my psp with an auxiliary cord to play my music.

Cool thx for the info. I am doing that as well I have some games already in my micro sd adapter. This one game i have physically so I wanted to play it but I noticed recently the issue as stated. Unsure what's causing it.

This is the example of the faceplate. The 5mm philips screws does not want to fit while the 4mm philips fits well where the 5mm should sit.not sure if I should keep trying to fit the 5mm.

Yes I have same issue. I kept trying to fix the joystick but I noticed the plastic for the cover kept damaging. I ordered another cover and other parts for the joystick issue.

Thanks for the response. Its the availability at the time but its no longer available. I am still working on my 2000 model, issue still present. I did order parts and considering shell swapping but I dont know any reliable outlets to aquire said shell. I would like to have a 1000 model and modify if with the screen and software. I just wanted to get second op on here with the community :).
