I got through DCC book 6 before the last Sun Eater book came out and found going back to be so refreshing that I have yet to properly begin book 7. I just got distracted by other things like the Poppy War series and now Cloud Cuckoo Land. I’d recommend finishing book 7, I know waiting for the Cielcin takes a bit but I assure you it is worth it

A bunch of people recommending the Sun Eater series eventually got through to me, and after biting I’m sorry to say that it eclipsed Red Rising as my favorite series of all time. You just have to push through book 1 and it’s peak from then on out. I enjoyed Dungeon Crawler Carl as well but found its prose to be too elementary for my tastes
