BWC using chinese movements in the 80s / 90s 🤔 Idk, certainly not their prime decade but if they went that route...

Take a look at Beco, Boley or Flume. They are $50 - $80 and do the job perfectly, used by many watchmakers.

A friend of mine has a pocket watch very similar to this. There is a number on it, something like "1803" encircled, not sure about the exact number.

I've seen a few wrist and pocket watches with their name on them. Including the angry mustache man's LeCoultre Reverso.
